Its a crap shoot really because there are a lot of factors. If its an SSC designed piece solely with no collaboration the price will be lower. If its a SWS/SSC piece it'll be heavily priced. For 1:3 I don't see the price going any higher than the full size bust and I think that is pushing it. If its a 1:2 Full size, then I could see a pricepoint similar to the Endos which was about $2,000. If its a 1:1 Full Size then expect to pay around Threepio prices which will be around $6,000. Regardless I'm getting whatever they put out but if its pricey it'll be a FLEX or wait and nab after savings. If its 1:1 it'll hang out for a while so we won't really have to scramble.

no doubt, at that price i'm sure it won't sell out fast.

I will be getting this for sure !

This will go perfect with my Iron man collection !

Man !! I am so glad I got a perfect IRON MAN bust.
I cant wait for sideshow to announce the maquette.
pumped !

Damn, I think you just sold me on the bust. I see SS still has some on FlexPay. :confused:hmmmmmmm

I thought SS was completely sold out of the IM 1:1??? Now they have it in stock on second chance??? And I also heard that they "ran out of replacements"????? What's the deal???

The Second Chance stuff they have by their own admission, is usually flawed or something that got returned, or flex pay stuff that didn't get payed off, but count on there being something wrong with it, and they don't do exchanges for second chance, IMO, its probably the shadiest thing Sideshow does.

Tell me about it, It felt so much easier just stayin in the Aliens & Robots section:lol

It's rough out here in Marvel, there's just so much and so much good stuff. I believe that it would be the most expensive out of all the sections we have here and if it isn't.... my wallet feels it regardless.:monkey2

This is actually a piece that I am very interested in. Looks friggin' excellent.

I could definitely see myself buying one of these.

Woah, wait..... They don't do replacements for any second chance items???? That makes no freakin sense. Isn't any item purchased directly through sideshow eligible for their satisfaction guarantee?

That'd be messed up if they're just selling all the bad apples that got returned

I love Jon Favreau.Everytime i ve seen him interviewed he s so down to earth, laid back, happy to be there no airs and graces no BS.The fact he delivered one of THE great movies of recent years does nt get a mention and his closing words on Stan Winston bought a lump to my throat. What a great man.

For some reason that doesn't sound right to me either. I think if Sideshow were to do that they would have a lot more complaints and why know to send something that has flaws if it's just gonna cost u more money in shipping it back to urself and sending it back to customer.

This is going to be SO SWEET!!! I canceled all my HT Iron Men and the Classic quette. This will fill that hole perfectly.:)

totally agree, i also cancelled all the hottoys versions, but did get the CIM and already have the stealth com. so this 1/3 or 1/2 will look great as the centerpiece of my IM collection.

god i just hope it's not a 1:1.:(

I dont think its fair to generalize that all second chance merchandise is flawed or second rate. In most cases 2nd chance is the result of cancellations close to the ship date. Then they sit on those items for a little while to ensure replacement pieces as well as drum up interest. Nothing makes people want something more then a "sold out" tag. Then they put them up for second chance. I have bought many a statue on second chance and never had an issue.

Usually if the "second chance" stuff is flawed Sideshow does an Express Update and sell the goods at a reduced cost. Those pieces are returned statues or flawed pieces they couldnt sell out. Also, unless Sideshow discloses the damage up front and offeres a reduced price, they are always willing to give a refund when no replacements are available.
