I'll buy it for $1,500... I don't think I'll pay $2,000 for it though, no matter how awesome.

ALthough I have been forced to eat my words in the past!

Nah. Abe Sapien was only $300 and that is 1:3 even Juggy was only $324. Add the lights and the fact that the armor will require the extra detail and I don't see this going any higher than $599 maybe $699 max. This will not be more than the 1:1 Bust.

This is true. For whatever reason I was thinking along the Cinemaquette lines.

Wow! That's gorgeous!

I love that Sideshow does these larger-scale pieces. Even if I can't afford them. What an amazingly cool time to be a nerd! :D

This big fella gives me hope of someday getting my dream Sauron PF ... which at 1/4 scale would be about the same size as this guy! :google

Fingers: Cross 'em if you got 'em!

That looks awesome, but I wish it was 1:4 so that it would fit in with other PF's. I'm sure it will be out of my price range, so probably a pass from me.

there's a youtube video of this statue posted during the making of Ironman I

if its 1/3rd i couldnt imagine it being for 2k since thats what a 1/2 endo costs and that has lights as well, so 1,000-1500 would b my guess as well, and a must have even though theres no space :dunno

Well, I'm not getting to excited about this because SS have screwed up the paint jobs on pretty much every iron man related piece. Why should this be any different?

That's why I think this time around, it should be Battle-damage version.

As much as I think this looks cool, I can't help but feel let down that it's not 1/4 and therefore won't be in scale with all the other PF's.

That's a good point. But, I think at a 1:3 scale or even a 1:2 scale, this would fit into any Marvel collection regardless.

Oh no doubt, it's an awesome piece; stand alone at that it's just gonna be huge when compared to other statues.

That's what makes it so awesome! :lol (But your point is well taken. I have that similar issue with my GR comiquette, displayed next to the other Marvel PFs.)

I'm not too excited about this things price.. hell Manthing is $500 this thing will be $1000... too rich for me. :(

Too bad it won't fit in with the Mark 1 maquette - but if that's what they're talking about it's pretty tempting.

I'd rather have another HT ironman which I can pose however I like. Give me a MMS DX ironman for all I care, increase the price 3 fold, and I'd still be down with it. I'm a sucker for ironman. :D

Seems like a 1:2 scale might look odd - like an Iron Child instead of an Iron Man.

I was just thinking of selection that SS offered when the Terminator Endoskeleton pieces were released (ie 1:4, 1:2, 1:1.) As long as we get something 1:3 or larger, I'm committed to buying it....hopefully. :lol

Man..this year has been expensive, next year, might be even more...I figure $500-700 for this bad boy..So much for the HCG 1:2 Terminator T-800 bust..I rather have this.
