I kinda thought that the SUV driver might have done something to cause this to happen. I highly doubt the bikers went out looking to target some random person. That said, that doesn't excuse the threatening behavior.

Did you watch any of the other videos I linked to of the groups behavior and how they were driving? They were weaving in and out of traffic, driving in the wrong lanes with on coming traffic, passing on shoulders, riding on sidewalks, running red lights, etc.

They were a bunch of jackasses.

some reports still say he broke the bikers leg before he ran over the other 3 guys. Seems they still arent sure of correct info.

The guy who broke his leg was the one who got in front of the SUV and stopped. He got clipped. That's when the others surrounded the SUV and cut his tires and that and he drove off hitting the other one who may end up in a wheelchair.

If they would've been obeying the law and minding their business, none of this would've happened.

But I just can't, Ive seen too many horror stories coming from bike accidents.

My best friend is a first responder in his town. One Saturday morning, he got a call. 22 year old kid just out of traction for a back injury earned doing stupid **** on his bike. First thing he did out of the hospital was try to break his high-speed wheelie record. So, +100mph, his wheel comes down wrong and he hits the guardrail. Took him apart like a cheese grater. My friend had to pick up the pieces. Didn't sleep for three weeks, and when he did, he had the same dream of being woken up by his dog making noise in the living room. When he gets up to yell at the dog, he finds the bodybag full of the kids parts writhing around, trying to get out. He has still never fully recovered psychologically from that day.

I drive by that spot every night going to work, and every morning coming home. Someone put up a permanent roadside memorial for the retard, and every time I see it, I think about lighting it on fire.

The bikers wanted to show off in Times Square and do their stupid reckless stunts. The guy was in a black Range Rover, which is a nice car that might well belong to someone from Manhattan, or who represents Manhattan, or the type of upstanding person that would object to the biker's behavior.

The bikers probably saw the SUV driver as a representation of why they weren't allowed to ride in Times Square and decided to harass him out of spite. They were irate and were looking for a scapegoat, and they found one.

The bikers were a bunch of irresponsible cretins who believe they can do whatever they want and they resent being told otherwise. They have little if any respect for the law or order in society.

Quite frankly, you have to be a little bit crazy to ride a motorcycle, and you damn well have to be crazy to do the kind of stupid reckless stunts these riders do. They have no respect for their own safety or well being so they sure as hell don't have any respect for anyone elses.

These people probably have very short fuses, but then we know they do based upon how they behaved.

They instantly became an angry mob when one of their own got hurt as a result of forcing the SUV driver to hit him, as if it was the SUV driver's fault.

These people don't know the meaning of personal responsibility or accountability. They are "outlaws", edgy, ect.

Now, that's some *****ked up $h!t right there.
Sounds like your friend has a mild case of PTSD.
Thank goodness for people like your friend. Hope he can make a full recovery eventually.

Oh jesus, that's harsh....... yeah, I guess I will never know what it's like :/ feel bad for your friend

Sorry. :lol

I admit, I've been waiting to tell that story since I found out what kind of 'bikers' they were.

The halfwit in my story belonged to a group that called themselves 'The Vertical Outlaws'. So, yeah. I pretty much agree with everything you've speculated.

I don't see how it is even possible that he broke the leg of the guy he bumped on video at that time, he doesn't even go down. He'd ya have got a broken leg when he got ran over, but not before they started to attack the car. Plus if it was a drivers fault why is he still the one who has not be arrested and from the beginning said no charges were likely to be filed.

I think there are some people here who are trying their hardest to make the bikers be the victims. Seemed pretty cut and dry to me from the start. Rightfully so, I and others were "politely" told not to jump the gun who was at fault. Days later there still hasn't been any evidence come out that the driver of the SUV was at fault.

That's brutal. My Dad as you know did this job for the last 25 years. He doesn't run calls much anymore being the Chief but he had one a couple years ago where a guy speeding on a Bike tried to pass on a hill. Let's just say he ended up as a hood ornament and they picked up pieces out of and off of everything.

Lots of keyboard cowboys here who probably can't relate to any of the events happening here. How many of you actually ride?

I don't support either side of who is right or who is at fault. They all look like @ssh0l3s on that video. Facts are...the bikers who committed a crime were arrested or are being sought after. Good. These guys are douch3s. But the driver of the SUV has got to pay for what he did as well. You can't just run over people and crush them under your $100k SUV because they are sitting in front of you. He's got to pay too.

I don't do this crap or ride in groups or gangs or rallies. I've ridden all across the country from NJ to California and back on a loop of 9,000 miles in 22 days. I always try to ride where there are no cars and no people and no danger of me getting killed by the idiots in cages who have no idea what is going on around them because they are talking on their bluetooth or texting or whatever. Fact is I treat every car out on the road like they are trying to kill me. If you don't, they just might end up doing so.

you seem just as angry/judgemental as the "keyboard cowboys" .... :monkey1

Not to sound like a keyboard cowboy. However I assure you if my vehicle was being attacked with sharp objects by a mob while my kids were in the car, I would have acted the same way. He was absolutely justified running over those people to get out of harms way. I wouldn't have stopped in traffic either. He should have put it in reverse and ran more of them over.

Reports are that they were bashing his vehicle with their helmets and slashing his tires. What in the hell do you want him to do? Wait around to see if they are really upset or just joshing with him?
