Well, it works. Though, I don't shout my platinums from the mountain or anything, I just get the the platinum, flip Satan the bird*, and maybe drink a beer. That's about it.

I'm going to play through Crysis 3, and Tomb Raider on the PC, just in time before this game comes out!

Right? Surprised in such little interest so close to launch. This games going to blow everything else this year away. How many games and devs take this kind of time to write and properly create a story that's new and interesting. Kinda sad seeing this thread VS the CoD threads.

I'm in no rush to pick this up. It will get cheap like every other game and as a single player game there is no sense of urgency to get started right away.

In terms of ranking up or the like of course not, but just like certain midnight showings, this is an experiance I've been waiting for and following for years. I've already got in installed on Steam so come midnight, I don't have to even wait in a line, I'm good to go.

Bioshock is in my all time Top 5. It's super rare we get such an immersive and original gaming experiance and story. Half Life, Bioshock, these game's popularity lasts years as opposed to the rank youself up Call of Duty's that come out yearly on cue. Who cares about getting as much time as you can so your a SGT b4 everyone else when its all going to start over again next November. In the grand scheme of things I'm not going to remember CoD 4 and 5 and 6, but HL and Bioshock's art and characters will be with me a long time.

Sometimes real talent goes to waste.

There is still time. ANd once the reviews come out, I'm sure it will be like Tomb Raider and will peek interest in those, who didn't even consider this game or are not excited about it.

Yea I suspect this will get high praise and once reviews start rolling in more hype will develop.

I've already got my copy but I think I'll order the Collector's edition for this one too so I can get that Songbird Statue. I don't ever go in for these sort of things but the metal Big Daddy that came with the Bioshock Collector's Ed. was real nice. I'm pretty sure Silent Surfer here painted the statue as well.

I'm with you Deckard! Looking forward to this game more than anything else at the moment. God it's been such a loooooong wait I almost can't believe it's really here in just a little over a week..

I've been replaying bioshock 2 to pacify me lol, going through Minerva's den now.

Question tho, what are the promo items you scored? I just got my skyhook replica today, and dig it. Going for the full range of NECA product on this one, hoping we get some more replica items. The only things I missed on before we're the big daddy plush dolls and I'm really kicking myself for that now

They are in-game items for Team Fortress 2. Tons of games do promos for Tf2 on PC if they get a release on STEAM. Differant various things you can attach to your character. Here's the songbird on my Sniper.

Yea I love it, I think they based it on the plush from that video i posted. I wouldn't mind Neca doing a similar plush version and I'd say theres a good chance they could since they did plush for TF2, Half-Life 2 and Portal.

Plush would be cool, would buy one to throw with the props for sure. But I really want a badass in scale figure to go with the 6" figure line.

I imagine we'll see great things from that line

Yea well that's why I'm gonna get the statue but I wouldn't mind a Neca version either. Games not even out yet and they've done 2 figures, a prop, and shown off others so it's a good start. I'm sure if it lives up or wins GOTY we'll see another year's worth of stuff.
