I read them. Can't say I know the source material so don't care much for it. Still pretty lame though.

I bet the wokeness got the creators at Marvel and didn't want a man beating up on a woman. Sad. Hopefully TM returns as a dude with a cape. I know the stunt guys are dudes in the movie too.

I'll wait to see what the audience score is as recent history has shown there is a large disparity between critics and the normal audience.

"Critics" now seem to be anyone with a website or YT channel. I'd have given up with critics at Black Panther being called a "masterpiece" if I hadn't already.

I'll watch it even if I think the entire premise is dumb; e.g. if I were writing the fallout after Civil War, I'd have had Nat tracking down Cap & co. and then fighting terrorists from the shadows like the comics. Not up and deciding to head back to Russia (I guess). So it's like, after CW; she like "I have unfinished business". Then after whatever happens she tells her Russian friends or family "I have unfinished business". Like a ping pong ball bouncing around the globe.

Only to get ignominiously nerfed in the end in a weirdly dull death scene.

The diluted critical analysis -- diluted mostly from studio-driven shills -- has really destroyed the entire concept of critical review.

One more thing the internet has done in an attempt to homogenize the masses while in reality separating us all into factions.

I miss the days of a single reviewer -- who I trusted and understood his likes and dislikes who I could generate a fairly solid anticipation from.

Does anyone keep track of theatrical revenue anymore? Used to be a lot of talk about how successful a movie was based on its theatrical numbers.

Curious to see how this movie does when there's so much MCU weekly on TV. Won't this end up streaming in 3-4 weeks?

October 6. Box office numbers are public but not streaming numbers.

I think they do in it works in their favor. Like Loki was the most watched debut MCU show, but even that can be skewed. Got to see how they word it. There are some independent entities that try to lock down a number, but it isn't exact either. I would assume it would be like any tv show, big opening, interest wans, then rises at the finale.

That scene with her free falling does look stupid af. Gotta remember that these are humans with bones. Black widow is a human right? Her falling at top speed and crashing into another human is dumb. I know it’s a comic movie but let’s not make everyone super powered
