I am always moving in this game. I only take cover to reload.
I move from cover to cover scan sector and move.


I love people that just run around in the middle of a street. such easy targets.

CoD and "real" dont really go together. I do occasionally hear campers use the "real" line though. If they want a more realistic experience, they should quit after the first death. You cant respawn in real life.

I generally dont have a problem with people playing games the way they want, but when its at the expense of others, its not cool anymore.

It's a game. You can play any way you want. If there is a "camper" maybe people should work as a "team" to get rid of them.

The problem I have with COD is every match really comes down to getting the most kills in a selfish manner. It's hardly ever played with a team mentality. Usually the people *****ing about campers are people that got caught running around trying to rack up their own personal kills.

That's why I really liked Gears of War. Quirks aside for the most part people worked together trying to take out the other team. If you died once you were done. So it forced people to play in a cohesive manner.

Ppl who camp either suck or want a good kd. I dnt mind it though. Yea I also only take cover to reload or if I'm on a really high kill streak, but even then, I switch from spot to spot. No sense in camping one spot the whole game.

I just want dedicated servers so it isn't dependent on who the host is...and it is balanced in regards to who shoots first...sees who first.

I don't think you're a camper if you run into a building and let someone follow you in and take them out. That's just being smart. I've done that several times.

A camper means you sit in a corner or in bushes and just wait. Hiding in a building is called taking cover. And if you want a team game, play Battlefield. CoD doesn't have teamwork, it's not meant for that.

Campers are just part of the game. You get them in pretty much every FPS's. Who cares there just easy picking IMO

Personally I would be so bored camping. I've got a mate who is just happy to lay on the floor & wait. Man what is the fun in that.

Just completed the campaign last night... I hate to be this guy but I had no fun what-so-ever. I know complaining about stuff being over the top in COD is like complaining that there is meat in a triple steak burrito but it truly was obscene this time around. Plus there were barely any missions with Riley...

How does the 'Squads' portion of the game stack up? That is, is it any fun when playing by yourself against the AI?

Haven't given it a go yet. I played the campaign and on round of the Extinction mode and that was it.

Why a laugh. You can always tell when you are playing against a good team all playing together. They usually dominate.

I don't usually see "teams" is what I meant. On my side or theirs. It's just a collection of random players. Sometimes its a collection of good players that dominate, but that's because they're good players. They'll dominate no matter what. The classic definition of "team" is foreign to my experience with online play. Unless of course it's a group of friends. That happens sometimes. Not to me. I don't have any gaming friends. At least none that will play shooters online.

yeah the key is playing in a party group and using the headsets...communicating, etc...i use to play with a group and it had a team feel to it. Especially if playing capture the flag or domination.

Or if I see a team of campers I just hold back and switch to a sniping class. Beat them at their own game.
