Are people returning their bodies for replacement if the stripes are misaligned? Mine's are only slightly off but it doesn't bother me much...

A Happy ending! Just got this E-mail! from SS :woo

"Thank you for your email. Please know that at the time of the initial offer we were not able to offer a gun as we did not have a wait list . We have recently been informed that we will getting more parts in , however we do not have an estimated wait time for when they will get to us. For the time being I will place you on the wait list, however if you feel that you do not want to wait for the guns we can still offer the credit. The belt is on its way either way.

They order spare parts based on a percentage of the ES

Based on quality control I think they need to increase the percentage of spare parts they are getting. They have run out really fast on some pieces with edition sizes in the thousands.

Yes! The fact that SS recognized that they had a problem and are now willing to correct it. So I’ll have to wait a bit. But I’m now confident I’ll get my replacement. And my belt replacement is on its way. So it’s all good. :dance

Maybe because it happened in the first place? Shouldn't fragile pieces of a very expensive collectible that's being shipped all over the world be secured in the box a little better.

If it was a single person that had an issue, then no, the box could of been dropped. But when its enough that they run out of replacements because so many came broken then I would say yes, they were not packed correctly to survive shipping safely. After all it is Sideshow that designs the Styrofoam to protect the pieces when shipping right?

Btw, how long does it take for SS to respond to email, I replied to them nov 26th still got nothing...

Got an email about the gun replacements, basically same thing as jimcap said. For my body they said compared to what they have they don't have anything better to replace it with. I want this with a good gun but torn on settling for these stripes, they're just wrong.

Imo, I think your crazy if you keep it as is, I would never be able to get my eyes off the stripes, sorry, just being honest. And that reason they gave you that they are hand made and that's why each statue is "unique", that's ****ing BS man. I think they meant "that's why some came out great and some others are messed up".

I got a reply back from them within 48 hrs. If you have not heard from then since the 26th. I would call them.


When there's multiple breaks of the same piece in the same place? Probably :D

Bloody hell! My waitlist converted..... AFTER I purchased the RE for double pts and free shipping.... :slap

Did they ever use to do this before?? Tell you your waitlist order is going to be cancelled and give an offer for the RE, and then NOT cancel the EX only for it to convert?
