Now you guys believe me? :) I didn't see this particular artwork though, the extra arc lights on the 46 is news to me. Some of the details are a bit different from what I saw, this could be an earlier artwork and they've refined the costumes a little more since, but the larger design elements are consistent.

It's not about believing. At least for me. But concept art is often not reflective of the final design. Look at all the early art for the other films and then the final. So much done that wasn't used, and so much changed.

It's why I love those "Art Of" books so much. I love seeing how everything changes and evolves.

:exactly: Remember how Igor was painted in red and gold and how so many people here posted that they hoped the HT Hulkbuster version looked like that? :lol

The final Hulkbuster design put that to shame.

Well it looks like Cap will have the same cosume as Age of Ultron, but Iron Man will definitely be getting an upgrade to the 45. Finally getting to see the 'Bleeding Edge' armor on screen is bad***. :rock

I was wondering how hot toys will ever keep up with making all these figures. Production wise they will be busy fortunately for them in terms of design the costumes for the most part change a little so they should be able to leverage what they used before.

Still if they do the line up again and DC figures it will be a packed schedule.

Hire more workers and expand would be the likely course of action if they get overwhelmed. They have a lot on their plate over the next year... Finish off the AoU line, Terminator Genisys, Ant-Man, Star Wars 7, Batman v Superman, Civil War, not to mention all the other projects they're probably working on.

Yeah it just takes time and stuff their plate us packed and as you mentioned not including the unannounced stuff sure would like to see what they do for x men

Not much of anything for x-men movies besides Wolverine if the current trend continues... Still waiting on a DOFP Magneto, but we'll probably never get it or anything else from x-men movies until Fox is done and Marvel gets the rights back. I don't know if the rights issues are the reason for HT's lack of X-men figures, but it's the most likely reason seeing as how there has been little to no x-men movie merch since wolverine origins. I'm guessing marvel just won't sign off on it to spite fox, but I've heard that they are in talks again so who knows what will happen... Hopefully if they learn to play nice we'll get some figures from First Class and more than just wolverine for DOFP.

I much prefer Cap's look here to AoU. As far as Iron Man goes, this armor kind of makes the XLV obsolete, no? Precanceled. :lol

I think you're the first person to ever use 'precancelled' correctly :lol :duff

It's a licensing issue. For xmen first class and DOFP fox did not aquire actors likeness rights in purpose. It was a eff you to marvel. So each actor has to consent and get paid by anyone that wants to use their image/likeness. In this case hot toys. And they have to pay fox. And marvel. With all other marvel properties they just pay marvel. Also each actor can ask for crazy money or flat not do it (Jennifer Lawrence has said no to all likeness deals thus far) or have approval power (James McCoy had this and did not want his action figure to be in a wheel chair and didn't like the face hence no first class prof X after the proto)...the xmen deals from first class to DOFP are unique in the CBM world. Only ones I know of that are like that. But fox now wants to deal with marvel, requesting additional rights so having to bargin, and the guy that was in charge at fox is now gone (to Sony now). So should get better. But the issue with xmen not entirly hot toys fault

I'm happy Cap is so close to the AOU design. That's assuming, of course, that this piece isn't somehow out of date already. But it means a HT based on the Civil War look would be easy to pass on. I like the white on the arms. The Iron Man concept art does give me pause. I love the 45 and was all about it... but this does look like a nice evolution of that. I love the Bleeding Edge look and the repulsors all over is a neat look. Hmmm.

Team Cap over here. I'm ready for Tony to finally retire for good!!

Honestly couldn't care less about the relationships in the films. BW could end up with anyone, I don't really have a problem with who it is. I just think the BW/Banner scenes seemed out of place and their kiss was a little cringeworthy. Especially with the traditional music being added. Really seemed like something out of the '80's lol.

Another vote for Cap here. Hot toys will cry if IM goes though.

Re-issue, Re-issue, Re-issue, repaint, repaint, repaint, diecast, diecast, diecast and not to mention we'd surely get Stealth Variants of almost all the suits, and then theres the 1/4 releases :rotfl

I think they're safe for another few decades :lol
