I hope Captain America breaks Iron Man's neck. (srs)

Re: Captain America 3 (May 6, 2016)

I wonder if the fact that Gone Girl is number one for the second weekend in a row, while The Judge opened at fifth, domestically, is indicative of how the Batman V. Superman and Cap V. Iron Man fight is going to go down? :lol

Re: Captain America 3 (May 6, 2016)

I bet after Age of Ultron, the superhero movie fad thing hits a decline and BvS and Cap vs. Iron Man are the worst movies of 2016 financially. So bad, they don't make back their budget and superhero movies are done for good.

Re: Captain America 3 (May 6, 2016)

Not having Spidey would be the least of their problems in adapting Civil War to their current characters, good luck on this "7 year storyline" :lol

Nah, superhero movies are here to stay... forever.

Roth is such a great actor. They really should bring him back. William Hurt as well.

They may as well, unless Hulk is going to basically always remain a secondary character.

Re: Captain America 3 (May 6, 2016)

I wonder about it. They obviously rolled him out with Iron Man as one of the first characters they thought they could really capitalize on (he has traditionally been one of the "Big 3" Marvel characters with Spidey and Wolverine), but since then they haven't had faith to do more than just make him comedy relief in Avengers. World War Hulk seems like such an obvious idea though.

I read an interesting interview that Jon Favreau did a couple years ago where he said that Marvel asked him to lead off the MCU and they gave him the option of doing it with Captain America or Iron Man. Obviously we know which one he picked but its funny to imagine what would have been if he did Cap instead. Who would he have cast, would the movie have been any good, who would a different director cast as Tony Stark, etc.

Re: Captain America 3 (May 6, 2016)

We have a history of tension between Cap and IM from Avengers. Stark was the one who didn't work and play well with others which is strange since he appears to be assembling Avengers recruits, and a drone army. Maybe Cap objects because he is doing the same thing Fury did with the super carriers.

Re: Captain America 3 (May 6, 2016)

Civil war storyline need more characters, we currently just have Capt, nick fury, BW , Hawkeye + Tony Stark. Hulk & Thor most likely will not involved. Maybe some original superhero characters

But if they can put Spiderman into it, I am already sold
