Only ONE thing bothered you in the movie?? Go to the head of the class![emoji38]
Absolutely...everything else was as expected. Even that one thing...I'm satisfied with the responses I received lol

The correct actress of the woman at the elevator who blamed Tony for her son's death:

Nah, AOU would absolutely be necessary for Sokovia, Vision and Scarlet to have an impact and character knowledge.

Thor movies need not apply. :lol

I was catching my wife up on the MCU and after watching Winter Soldier we watched AoU. You're right man, that movie is necessary just for the reasons you stated. Just need to line up a babysitter so we can see CW together.

My wife's first reaction to Ultron, "he's kookie". Her reaction the next time he's on screen, "oh yeah, he is definitely kookie". :lol
Best thing I can say about watching AoU again is that I discover more female cleavage in the movie during each viewing.

Just got my first viewing....

Impresions:

Good:
1. I was worried at first, pacing was slow. Later I realized I was watching a movie about characters, not the AOU action feast.
2. CGI was well done and in my preferred style. Not too over the top comic books style like BVS. Nothing stood out as totally beyond the possibility of physics.
3. Had more emotional weight for me that BvS.
4. Great balance of all the characters, each had there arcs and emotional issues.

Bad
1. Maybe about 15 minutes too long....better editing would be nice.
2. Lots of unresolved arcs...but trying to look at it as more of a continuation...
3. Would like to see more of BW and Hawkeye
4. Missing Hulk and Thor
5. No free Ice cream

Overall I am with positive review.

I say an 8/10.

Certainly much much much better than BvS.....

I'm with you, had I not been given free ice cream during The Empire Strikes Back I would've hated that movie.

2/10 pre free ice cream.

10/10 post free ice cream.

Caught this again today at 3:15 showing.....it was dang near a full house. This movie has some serious staying power...still one of my favorite cbm to date loved every second of it.

Considering the fan and critical reaction you'd think it'd be on a pace to crack the top 5 of all time, but I don't think it's even close to that. I hope I'm wrong though.

You must be talking about BvS.....aren't you?:wink1:

Laughing Evans is just the Giving Tree that keeps on giving...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You know, in retrospect, this video is now what I'd call "the very definition of hilarity", considering the outcome of events:

Watched it again today.

I honestly wish they had just named it something else. FALLEN SON, or AFTERMATH, something else.

They really took the war out of Civil War and kept the tone typically light even when things demanded otherwise.

8/10 still and it pains me to give it that since this should have been the most heartbreaking of all the MCU movies.

Honestly not expecting anything transcendent from this franchise anymore. Its all fun and spectacle with very little staying power and consequence.

I thought the end was pretty dramatic but to each his/her own.
