Laughing Evans is just the Giving Tree that keeps on giving...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You know, in retrospect, this video is now what I'd call "the very definition of hilarity", considering the outcome of events:

Honestly can't blame anyone for thinking that Cap could take the Trinity head on in popularity box office competition and come out victorious, and he was right you know, horrible idea had it been the same weekend, would've been disasterous for both.....well...now we know even more so for BvS. :lol

But Cap did come and he did conquer., huge win for Marvel.

:lol :lol :lol

Evans gif definately beats Tobey's struting gif and Travolta's confused gif, and that's not an easy thing to do. :lol

Oooh, that's a tough call.

I'd say the finalists to me are Tobey with Suicide Squad, Travolta with the Avengers and Chris Evans as Pa Kent in the tornado. For sheer laughter, I might give the edge to Chris Evans, but the Tobey one was more creative. The Travolta sensation as a whole might top them though. That one is so flexible. :lol

Here's a few I hadn't seen until today:

I thought the end was pretty dramatic but to each his/her own.

I felt CW ending was far superior emotional then then most cbm. Many interpret consequences to equal a characters death even tho said characters resurrection happens before ending credits roll. As you said to each their own.

Man these are pure genious.

Just rewatched TFA/TWS, the sheer brutality and precise speed in the TWS choreography still packs an incredible punch!

TFA is also made stronger by the other 2.

Jeez man, what an incredible trilogy.

Certainly better than Indy 1/2/3 trilogy.

Umm, where is kara?

Don't worry, I'm going to break Jye's neck. He'll never be able to type these things again.

Yep. Of course no single Cap movie is better than Raiders but it's definitely the better trilogy. At the very least Civil War is superior than every "Part 3" save for Return of the King.

If I were to rank the top ones strictly in terms of quality I'd go:

1. LOTR
2. SW OT
3. ALIEN/ALIENS/Alien 3
4. Indy trilogy
5. Dark Knight Trilogy
6. Mad Max trilogy

(I'm sure someone will mention The Man with No Name trilogy but save for Unforgiven Westerns have just never been my thing.)

I'd put Cap trilogy as neck and neck with ALIEN. Too close for me to call right now, check back with me in a year or two. :lol

Woody and Buzz beats them all. :lol I'd put the Godfather trilogy ahead of, Indy, SW, Batman, and Capt also.

Both TOD and TLC are problematic but TOD is just so damn much fun and TLC always manages to redeem the terrible first hour with a thoroughly entertaining second hour.

RAIDERS is so utterly perfect and timeliness that it alone puts the entire trilogy above these, imho. :lecture
