I've lost all hope of the movie being as good as I originally expected, but I'm still hopeful it'll be good. I think sometimes we put too much expectation on a movie and instead of accepting it for what it is, we hold it up to what we wanted.

True true, valid point but no way in hell are you going to make me accept Superman 3 and 4, Batman and Robin, Batman Forever, Cat Woman, Elektra, Ghost Rider, Blade Trinity, Fantastic Four 1 and 2, Spiderman 3, X-Men 3 and Wolverine as good movies just because they didn't hold up to what I wanted

Holy crap, there sure are a-lot of crappy Superhero movies out there

I'm sure Ghost Rider part 2 won't be joining that list......wait for it....

If Rogers yells out "AMERICA!" at least once during the movie as a rallying battlecry., my expectations will have been surpassed.

Like in that one scene in The Other Guys.

Looked terrible.

So far all the movie previews have been total over the top CGI garbage. Super 8 was the only one that looked interesting but still seemed just like more of the same, lots of crap exploding, no plot.
