Captain America vs Batman

This isn´t ever a fair fight. Batman is a normal human man, and Caps has the supersoldier serum running through his vains...

Um punch - without the shield - and Bats is on the Batcave´s Intensive Care...

The super soldier serum created the ideal physical specimen......for the 1940's, a time when martial arts had barely entered the US shores. Since then physical development and muscle enhancers can pretty much create near similar results as the super soldier serum. Batman has trained his body to above Olympic level athletes and is a master in all form of martial arts and fighting styles as well as a master detective and tactician. I like Cap but have to go with Bats on this one.

Obviously the answer is "whoever the writer likes more" but if you take the characters as they've been presented in their latest movies I'd have to go with Captain America.

Batman always has one eye on his escape route (see the final showdown between him and Ra's Al Ghul on the train) but Cap will give everything, even his life, to win.

Its like that great exchange in Gattaca after the two competitive brothers tried to see who could swim farther out into the ocean:

"We're not going to have enough strength to swim back to shore."

"That's why I beat you, because I didn't save anything for the trip back."

I would think if Superman was fully enraged, he would just kill Batman in mere seconds. And Cap>Batman for this one, just logic.

If we gonna use this kind of argument, Captain has gone toe-to-toe with people like Thanos and even Hulk.

But, off course, some people here look perfect capable of saying that Batman could beat Hulk too...

No.

While Batman defeated the likes of Amazo, an android with the combined powers of the Justice League.
The "Tower Of Babel" is a perfect example as to what Batman is capable of. He had specific details on how to bring down each member of the League if he needed to.
Physically, Caps has the upperhand but Batman has taken people down who are much more powerful & smarter than Cap.

I too am a Marvel zombie but I gotta give it to Bats for this one.

If more than one fight, sometimes Batman would win, sometimes Cap would win.

Cap wins at first. He's faster, stronger, and SMART ENOUGH to know he can't let Batman think too much. He'd know he's fighting an incredible warrior. Physically he's too much for Batman, who tires out. Wayne being a genius doesn't mean Steve is just dumb, cuz he aint.

Once given a chance to analyze, Batman wins. He's come up with the right gadgets and assesments to beat Cap and he knows it can't just be a physical fight. The proper mix of fight, evasion techniques, and an ultimate trap get the job done.

Third, and the most likely result, they realize the good naturedness of each other and team up to stop the real villain. We're kidding ourselves to think this wouldn't happen.
