They lost the rights to the name way back when they launched the new 52. They've been calling him Shazam ever since but yes they did announce a movie but I don't think they had a date on their slate of films but I could be wrong about the date thing.

They can still call him Captain Marvel they just can't put that on the title.
As far as I know the date for the Shazam movie is April 5 2019, but it's too far away, it could change.

I honestly don't think Marvel is bothered even a tiny little bit by a thing WB is doing with that whole...mess. And rightfully so.
Their whole method in creating their connected universe has been very fluid, and tying the movies together is only helping their success. It would actually go against what they've been doing to not try and work certain characters into other movies.

Marvel is trying to get as many heroes on their roster as soon as possible so civil war has a problem of lots of super powered people to deal with.
