That is reassuring. I have no doubt about this piece's resale value. I promised myself I would start collecting Star Wars...but CM's are different. They stand alone, I wouldn't need any other pieces to compliment him.

What really sucks is that I only buy what I love, to display, so I can't sell anything to buy Vader. I'll make it work one way or another. Sell a guitar maybe..

I also got the call. They did mention that this is the LAST batch. There will be no more and there is a huge waiting list.

Can't say if there will be any more Star Wars CM's. The next one is The Creature From The Black Lagoon, beyond that we can only speculate. They must have an idea by now of their next piece though.

I just pulled the trigger on Darth Vader! Will charge and ship from CM tomorrow!

Besides the Terminator pieces CM have a "one and done" policy with franchises as far as I know. Which is dumb...

The license for vader alone was expensive.....so was the right to get James earl jones voices.....they made very few of these I forgot how many ....like 300 350 or something.....with the cost of manufacturing they did not necessarily make a killing off these....and that's from the horses mouth

Absolutely bro. Vader should be here next week. My new years resolution for next year is to set up a proper display. Behind glass or acrylic, with lighting. I'm really excited about it.

LOL. Sorry bout that. I had an issue with the lightsaber and had to return him. I'm waiting on my replacement or repaired piece. I should get info from CM today as a matter of fact. Here's a couple pics until I get him back. I love this piece. It is very impressive in person!

What number did you get? Looks like the highest I've seen is 263. Just wondering if they are going above the 300 that has been mentioned.
