What he needs to do is get rid of Brent Venables...They haven't had a really good defense since Mike Stoops left...... very undisciplined. I would have ____-canned him years ago. I didn't see any fire or effort out of this team....there was NO fight in 'em.

I'm looking forward the LSU-ALABAMA 2. They are clearly the best 2 teams and deserve to be there.

What he needs to do is get rid of Brent Venables...They haven't had a really good defense since Mike Stoops left...... very undisciplined. I didn't see any fire or effort out of this team....there was NO fight in 'em.

Its not helping that you got guys like Kenny Stills that can only run one or two plays then has to take him self out, pretty sure he needs to lay off the weed, Lewis talks a good game but looks confused running the wrong way half the time. Still can't figure out what Tom Wart was doing most of the game, don't get me started on Mr. Jones.

I'm fine with their offensive style...Broyles going down was a huge loss and they could shore up the Offensive line. It's the defense that needs revamped. I say fire Venables, get Mike back but, I doubt he wants the demotion after being a HC.

It was just a poorly played game by OU...plain and simple. Dropped passes, turnovers, missed assignments. You can't do that against good teams like OKS and expect to win. But they have a history of laying eggs in games.

I like coach Gundy, and he was fired up when he made that statement. After all it's the first time they have won the Big 12 championship, his first win over big brother and it's a series OU has dominated....and they get a BCS bowl. The series is something like 86-18. So it's obviously big for them...I mean look at what the fans did. And it seems coaches now have to lobby for their teams and try and sway the Human vote.

Edit: I would prefer an LSU/OSU game but if a one loss team is going it makes no sense to put a one loss team that lost to an unranked 6-6 team in over a one loss to the undefeated #1. Heres hoping to a BCS crash very soon.

I think the edge will go to LSU if they play Bama again, I see LSU beating them worse this time around.

Conference setup is what kept them out. Take away east and west sub divisions and they would have been in. Of course they could just move to the Big 12 and they'd be undefeated and there wouldn't be debate.
