I'm pretty sure that what they said about OU in 2000 with FSU, I don't like OSU but we already saw Bama LSU and it was boring I say give OSU a shot.

But in 2000 OU was the defensive team and FSU was the High powered offense.

Who has Alabama beaten to be considered such a monster that should be playing for it all? **** State? Other than Pig and Tiger the rest of the SEC sucks.

Bama had their chance and lost. Didn't even with their division let alone conference. If you can't do that you should not be playing for the MNC.


No one else wants to see them play for it either unless you are SEC fan or on the ESPN payroll.

Where is the rule that says you have to win your conference? The top 2BCS teams go...in this case LSU and Alabama are the top 2 teams....so just win the Fiesta Bowl.

That Iowa St game was played with bad circumstances around the school. There are reports that the players were just down after learning the news and let's be realistic these are college kids and just found out coaches from another sport have died in a plane crash. I am sure you will say that it shouldn't matter it wasn't a football coach though.

Been down that road before. If that rationalization/excuse makes you feel better more power to you though. I am not beating a dead horse. Truth is LSU would murder OSU.

You can bet that a rule that you have to at least make conference title game ( if conference has one) will be there next year.

I wouldn't bet on it. It happened before, the year OU lost to KSU in the Big 12 championship game and still went to the BCS NC game. They didn't change it then and all kinds of people were _____ing about it...most of it was coming from the BCS #3 team and ESPN.

Of course I did...and I'm saying don't be to sure about them making the rule you stated. They didn't change the rule in that instance and they won't change it in this one. Even though they are different senarios. It's relevant.
The 2 best teams in College football this season are in the same division of the SEC. Why penalize a team for being in a tough division of a tough conference? The goal of the BCS is to get to 2 best teams in the championship game...mission accomplished.

Or you could admit you were wrong. It's not that hard. I said something would change , you said it has already happened and gave an explantion that didn't match what I said. Pretty cut and dry your statement was wrong. It may not be what you ment to say be held responsible for you lack of ability of the English language.
