I've seen and they scored several against bad teams or quite a bit after they broke them as mfoga said. I have no problems standing by what I said that I don't think their offense is all that impressive.
They played 8 ranked teams, and average margin of victory in those games was 22 points.

Yeah, but really only three of them are really worth a darn.

No one has played a tougher schedule than LSU. No one....not even OSU. Who has OSU played? They barely beat a Texas a&m team and lost to Iowa state. Your argument holds no water.

LSU had 237 yards of offense against UGA and still put up 42 points. It wasn't their Offense that did it. Their Defense is monstrous. What's so retarded about this rematch is if LSU beats Bama it didn't prove anything we already know. If Bama beats LSU then do they get a rematch? So dumb. Hopefully a playoff will come out of this.

Man, I don't think LSU could have done anything for you to give them credit. Only teams ranked 1, 2, and 3 were worth a damn this year in college? They didn't score much against Alabama (which you seem to think is how LSU played all year in every game) because they realized that a conservative strategy was the best way to be competitive. Other teams have been able to score against Alabama, yes. But they took a risky strategy of tossing the ball around too much, which leads to turnovers, which makes that a sub-optimal strategy against Alabama.

We won't get a playoff for a while even with this decision.... Sorry. The two best teams are competing but I don't like it either. OSU should have been given a shot. At least we know one thing josh won't be watching!!!! Lol

I kind of liked Kirk Herbstreits +1 senario. #1 plays #4 and #2 plays #3 with the winners in the championship game the following week. But that would open up another can of worms with the team that comes in #5. A playoff is the way to go...but I don't see it happening anytime soon.

LSU is 13-0 and should be in the title game. They have a solid D and for me thats about it. I just don't think they're the gods of football that's it. My real issue is that Alabama is in the title game.

Well of course that's true--those are the Saints--but credit where it is due, LSU is able to score. They just don't score in the way conventional "high octane" offenses do of scoring early and often. LSU scores by playing solid D, which keeps the other team's defense on the field and getting tired. So late in games, LSU's O-line starts taking over.

I thought the packers were the football gods.

Well that's what I heard.

Wait or was it the Denver Tebows?

I agree that LSU D is good and thats why their offense a good percentage of their damage.

Yes, the Saints are very good.

OSU is ranked 2nd in the nation offensively because the highest ranked defensive team they played is ranked 38th. Oregon is ranked right below them offensively and we saw what happened to them. A great D is going to beat a good O everytime. This game might not keep us entertained but at least we don't already know who the winner is going to be.

Just saw this clip of my team from yesterday's second round of the playoffs. I can honestly say I've never seen anything like this in football. I never got a chance to see them play this year but after watching this I can't believe we almost and should have beat Clemson. I can't stop laughing. :lol :lol :lol

I dont get it you can see and hear the official in the corner blow the whistle.
