Awesome.

A rematch of punting and missed field goals.

Oh cause a game with no defense on either side of the field is soo rewarding to watch a la big 12. I just want to see a good hard faught game that hopefully the last drive means something. I am actually tired of seeing the SEC team annihilate the other teams in the BCS championships. However OSU still should have gone just to show that they aren't the caliber of team LSU is so that there wouldn't be any doubt as to who the best team really is. They are going against Stanford who just isn't impressive and I hope Luck doesn't get the heisman cause that would be just wrong. :)

There are 2 games I'm looking forward to watching...

ROSE BOWL
Wisconsin
Oregon

FIESTA BOWL
Stanford
Oklahoma State

By the way, my all time favorite bowl name is the.....

"Poulan Weed Eater Independence Bowl" from 1991. :slap.....:lol:lol

Thing is we will never know.

Standford will get lit up. :yess:

Gator Bowl

Florida
Ohio State

If this doesn't get Muschamp's ragtag bunch fired up to play a full 60 minutes I don't know what will. I know Meyer won't be on the other sideline yet, but this is what a bunch of the players were saying they wanted after the story broke last week.

I forgot about the Meyer angle for this game. :lol

It's a shame to have to wait 36 days until the MNC game. :thud:

I think you mean blessing. :lol

Yeah, but I think you would probably draft Leinart, Harrington, or even better yet..... Ryan Leaf. Heck, lets leave the PAC12, how about Brady Quinn? :)

I would have taken Leinart. Harrington, Leaf, and Quinn I'm not surprised they didn't make it but I thought they would have been better.

Any particular point you're trying to make?

Are you really not going to watch? Heck, I would have liked to seen OSU but until a playoff comes, it is what it is.

I meant it a 110%. I'd rather have a tooth pulled without painkillers than subject myself to this game.

Of the BCS games I'll watch the OSU vs Stanford and Oregon vs Wisconsin. I'll be passing on the rest of the BCS games.

The point is that they aren't really great NFL style quarterbacks. Sure they did well in the PAC10 (12), but they aren't really NFL material. The same thing can be said about Luck. Luck plays against weak teams. To be honest, Luck is definitely no Peyton Manning or even Stafford. Does it really need to be explained? You would take them for your NFL team. To me that explains it all right there.

I have a feeling that will be the case. Personally, I think Robert Griffin deserves the heisman this year. If Luck gets it, there is seriously something wrong.

Luck was by far the best QB but not the biggest stats guy.

Every conference has busts at QB.

Luck is far and away the best college and the best NFl ready QB. The guy has nothing but a couple good TEs. Give Luck the USC WRs or the Baylor WRs and look out. Luck couldn't do anything to make him look any better, all he could is regress in people's eyes kinda like Manning in his Senior year. How many other college QBs are calling there own offense? Almost every Offense does that check with me stuff.

I would take Barkley over RG3 in the draft.

As my friend said every conference has had bust QB hell the SEC has the biggest of all time in Russell. :lol You're not gonna give anyone any credit that doesn't play in the SEC so any further discussion is pointless so I'm not gonna bother.

Russell wasn't even all that good when he played at LSU, though. That was an example of analysts and scouts hyping a guy up well beyond what his abilities warranted. LSU won then as they do now--with defense. QB didn't really matter very much so long as he didn't throw pick sixes. The other guys mentioned were very good to great players in college but busts in the pros. Not that I agree that SEC QBs are better than those of other conferences (I don't, even though I do agree that they have more of a challenge and encounter more difficulties becoming great in college against those great SEC defenses), but I don't think the Russell analogy can go very far.
