Wow I used to order from CSC a lot. Good thing I haven't ordered anything from them recently. Ever since I discovered Hot Toys and a guy named Joe (Mista305) I haven't really ordered anywhere else. I hope everyone gets this straightened out. I hope they find the guys that did this and skip the courts and leave it to some good ol' street justice.

Ummmmmmmm......Street Justice.......:drool

Wouldnt mind giving out some of that right about now. :lol

Crime never pays, why can't people just make an honest living?!

Because they don't want to work. Period. They are lazy losers who think it's easy to just steal from other people who do work.

Well, I got hit. They tried to buy airline tickets with my card among other things. Thankfully the airline charge got blocked becuase it was over my spending limit. Got my card canceled and they're issuing me a new one, but damn is this annoying.

I got hit for Betamax and aarp charge. I ordered from CSC back in January for my Dark Knight figure. Credit card company caught it and cancelled my card and re-issue a new one.

just for the record, I havent received any emails from CSC regarding the issue.
My only CSC email is my receipt for my order on the 8th ... :monkey1

I cancelled my CC today and received a temporary replacement also. Fortunately I just have a total of $22 from 3 charges to dispute. I'd have hated to have to deal with an airline ticket charged.

The thing is, the money has already been spent. The thieves already got their stuff, be it airline tickets or whatever. It's the bank's or cc's insurance companies that take the hit (not that I mind one bit...)

Generally speaking, that's true, although if your credit card's fraud division catches the charge first, then the scammers won't have gotten anything. I've had legit purchases flagged as suspicious a number of times (annoying, but probably a good thing in general), and each time I had to call the credit card and have them approve it, and then call the vendor and have them run the charge again.

Just got hit with a waste.com / sweep.com I dont recall exactly what it was charge of $49.99 on my credit card and have never purchased such a thing and don't even know what it is. Card has been canceled. I have also been getting a ton of telemarketing calls on my cell phone and things being sent for "free" that I never ordered. Example: Acai Berry Maxx, BrokenGold package, and some Google Money Tree Cd. Some crazy @#$@ going on out there. Be aware and be careful everyone.

^^^^, I GOT THAT ^^^^ING AARP.

Must be from the CSC crack.

I'm done with CSC.

I've been hit about 7 times.. both on my debit card and credit card. I wont even bother going CSC anymore. How irresponsible of them. They completely lost my trust. That's what they get for charging me over $90 in cancellation/restocking fees over the years.

I don't think it was anything that CSC personally did wrong that led to the problem, but I'll have to admit that I will think twice before buying from them.

sorry if i missed iti n this thread guys but has any one ordered from urban collector or good stuff to go and had any trouble/? i ordered from these 2 recently, a ht v1 joker frm urban and a triad clothing set from good stuff and wondered if ppl have had trouble with these 2 aswel?

ive not ordered anything from cornerstone collectables

Yup, so it came from CSC. Because aside from AARP I also got a few of the small amount charges and an Itunes one....and something from Columbia home video?

Thank god the bank can credit it back to me today.

To go through this ^^^^ 2 times within 5 months is not fun at all.

This was my message sent to CSC's CEO:

I was affected with criminal purchases made with my stolen Chase Visa Card which I had incorrectly assumed where in good hands with your company.

Alongside a great deal of many other collectors, I am still very concerned over this very serious financial security breach problem which occurred right under the promises of your safety guarantee. Have you taken the time to visit and read the Sideshow Freaks Forum?

What is your company doing for customers like me to keep their business, continue charging restocking fees?

There were Sideshow Premium Format and Comiquette statues coming up soon that I was going to purchase from your online store but I have serious reservations about using my new credit card again with your company.

Like you mentioned in your message, i'm still mortified. My CSC fears haven't dissipated one single bit.

Good day

Oh man... I truly feel sorry for you guys :(. And CSC is definitely going to feel the backlash in sales, because of this whole ordeal.
