In my mind, all DC properties and continuities have always existed together in different realities, and in the comics Convergence made that official a while ago, so it's really nothing new for me, it also expands on the idea that the TV universe is just another Universe and can coexist with the movies, which is perfect.

I doubt 90's Flash makes it into the show though, plus the costume must be rotten by now.

So? Make a new one. Just because the show took place twenty years ago, that doesn't mean his Barry couldn't have seen some upgrades, as well. Just so long as it retains the spirit of that original suit, I'm cool with a new one. As far as your other point goes, I thought it'd be awesome if they made every film universe part of an overarching multiverse, so, Batman '66 is happening at the same time the Nolan films are, or 89, or the 78 Superman movies, and so on, and so forth.

Yes that's what I mean, they're all part of the same omniverse/multiverse, comics and non-comics alike.

As far as 90's Flash, I couldn't care less :lol I'd rather see Jay Garrick instead.

I'll give you props for correct grammar, but, as far as the latter goes, I've often asked...

I'm guessing that Rip Hunter will close the singularity in S2Ep1, but where it goes from there I just can't see with that many possibilities. On the 90's Flash, ive said before why not retcon Henry Allen into being the first Flash and he lost his speed around the time Barry was born. It sort of reverses the Barry and Bart situation into Henry and Barry, and if they're going to put Jon-Wesley Shipp into the suit then something a million miles from the padded suede please?

Why? Why has the interwebz turned into "insert GIF here in attempt to receive lolz"?

I'm pretty sure the Internet has always been that way. GIFS, Cat videos, and the occasional Facebook post about how you'll get murdered by a ghost if you don't tell 10 friends that you love them.

Teddy Sears will play speedster Jay Garrick.
Some DC fan favorites are speeding into The Flash season two.

Teddy Sears (Masters of Sex) is joining the show as Jay Garrick, who in comic book lore was the original fastest man alive. In the show, he will arrive in Central City to warn Barry (Grant Gustin) and his STAR Labs friends of an impending danger that he needs help to stop. Garrick's appearance was teased in the finale, when his winged helmet flew through a wormhole into STAR Labs.

Also in the mix for season two is Shantel VanSanten as Patty Spivot, a more recent addition to the comics. She's a police detective and science enthusiast whom Barry ends up having a crush on. Patty herself is obsessed with metahumans and is the new partner of Joe (Jesse L. Martin).

The new season will pick up a few months later and there will be many new faces, executive producer Greg Berlanti revealed at Comic-Con.

Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg revealed Professor Zoom will be the big bad of the season. He's faster than both Reverse-Flash and The Flash — and will be very difficult to catch. Wally West — another speedster from the comics — will also be joining the show.

"This year we will be introducing characters from Earth-Two," said Berlanti, referencing the multiple universes that exist in DC Comics lore. Garrick will come from Earth-Two.

As for why they chose to introduce Garrick, Kreisberg said it was an interesting opportunity.

"He's never been portrayed to our knowledge in live action. Now that we've established our Flash, we thought it was interesting to bring on the original Flash and create a brand new relationship for Barry to have."

The Comic-Con panel featured a special video introducing the characters.

I wonder if Zoom's lightning will actually be blue. The suit looks different even if it is in the same color scheme as Reverse Flash. Can you imagine if it is blue and the suit is actually black and we've got somehow (maybe another Earth's Reverse Flash?) all three running around? That'd be awesome.

You're confused because it's confusing, but there have been a whole bunch of dudes who have used those monikers over the years. I think Thawne was both Zoom and The Reverse Flash, at one time, but there was also Hunter Zolomon, I think Iris West's brother was the Reverse Flash in The New 52, and a whole bunch of others who I've forgotten. My guess would be that this one is Zolomon.

Well, I figured the "Zoom is coming" was pretty self explanatory, and that the blue was a creative decision to avoid confusing him with Reverse Flash.
