Got my Modern Connor in today Josh, and I must say I'm 10X more impressed than i though I would be. I read "it looks so much better in person" all the time, but God damned if it dont!!!!! He looks AWESOME!!!! The shirt, the shoes, the paints, and that jacket!! Oh that jacket is rockin man! I cant believe how much better the jecket looks. And that head, what can I say. IT IS CONNOR!!! The stubble is perfect! I just cant say how much I like this figure. i wish I could shake your hand Josh, this thing is awesome! I really mean it. He looks great next to my Connor with his long coat on. Kinda like a "during the movie Connor" and a "final battle Connor". They look so different, they could actually be 2 different figures! Man, Josh, it just looks great!!! 110% happy with my Connor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And thanks for the freebies!!! I love em. They fit in perfect with my collection of stuff. LOVE the mini-saber!!!! THANK YOU!

And I got in my SDCC package from Dave today too!!! And I got in Subject 5 yesterday, and I'm getting the Elder Predator tomorrow!!! What a kick ass week!!!!!

One other thing, I found a small plastic red stick thing,looks like a little lightsaber blade, in my package. Know anything about it Josh?!?!!?

I'd love to see pics of the Modern Connor! I have Josh working on aging an SST Obi, so I can make my own Obi ANH if Ewan were to play the part. I can't wait to get it back because Josh definitely does A+ work!

Thanks Guys!! yeah, Chase... I was wondering where in the Hell that thing fell!! I was going to toss in a few GG mini's in the box and couldn't find Vader's saber... I guess I now know where it's at. Hold on to it, I'll ship out the rest of the parts in a week or so...

I'm very glad that you are pleased, Connor was a labor of love and a blast to paint. The coat turned out magnificently well and I could not be prouder of it.

And Mike, The Obi is coming along nicely too... I just did the aged skin and have laid down the base grey on his hair. It's crazy how it makes him look... It's going to turn out great, he'll look like Guinness with a fuller head of hair!

Thanks Obsolete.... I wish I had better lighting today, just to show how much better it looks with a little sunlight. The sculpt was God aweful and I thought I couldn't salvage it, but I was pleasantly surprised in the end.

Hasbro seems to be hit or miss, and this one is a near hit.... not hideously bad, but still off in many ways. It's no Dooku, let's just say that.

I also have in work shot's of Jedi Mike's Obi Wan.... work in progress... just thought I would share them...

I also have a LOT more stuff I am working on that I am very very excited about.. but can't show you at the moment. Let's just say it's something to "Smile" about. Wait until you get a load of that paint app!!!

What a creepy ass looking Obi!!! You should start posting more "works in progress". I love to see how things get from a to b. And the repaint on the Hasbro looks good. Post a couple more pix in better lighting if you get a chance.

Thanks Chase! Yeah, he still needs a lot of work... some skin tone problems as well as eyes and hand repaints... But I think I will have a decent Old Ben Obi when all that is completed...

And I will def start doing more work in progress shots, I think it helps show how much goes into repainting a figure.

That aged Ewan headsculpt reminds me of Lawrence Olivier as Zeus in Clash of the Titans. I'd still like to see someone take that Obi sculpt and add a mullet to make AOTC Kenobi.

Thanks guys! When Mike first came to me with the idea I was a bit skeptical... not sure if it could work. But the more I work on it, the more I think it DOES work. He looks like an old man now, almost nothing like Ep III Obi.... Funny how a skin repaint and hair change could alter a sculpt so much.

I can't wait to see what he ends up looking like when I'm finished...

I am also surprised this "Old Ben" style Obi looks good and not odd. It fits this sculpt pretty well.
