I hope this Joker's nothing like Ledgers. Otherwise everyone will compare the two and Leto will fall short. Can't beat the original. I hope this Joker's more 'comic book-like' like Affleck Batman.

I'm a DC fanboy and love Superman but MoS was pure garbage. I'm hoping Snyder learned from his mistakes and improves this film.

Everyone is ragging on Jared Leto. He gets more support from me than that stupid kid on the Gotham TV show (which I think jumped the shark in the final few episodes of season one). I think the director intends the showpiece performance to be Margot Robbie, not Leto.

Speaking of which, there is a picture where Harley is strapped onto the table and joker has his hands around her head, and Harley is in her pre-crazy psychiatrist phase. The heavy implication is that Joker tortures Harley into submission?? I don't get that. I thought Harley developed a twisted obsession with the joker while he was in Arkham asylum. It seems that Harley may be portrayed as a victim....which i think doesn't fit. If they portray Harley is a victim, there is probably going to be a suggestion of rape some where in the move. (But Joker won't be the perpetrator).

In defense of this new DC universe (including MOS) is that they are not afraid to "go there". Some of these Marvel and 20th century Fox movies are playing it so safe there might as well be training wheels on the movie.

I think it clearly obvious who the character is. And is nothing like Ledgers, in any way.

Would've Ledger's Joker worked in BvS?

I don't think any movie joker would be interchangeable in any movie. They all have their own style that fits the time period they were made and the look/feel of the individual films.

Yea that makes her character seem very weak. Kind of like those real life stories you hear, where a rape victim develops infatuation with her rapist. (Sorry if that example was a bit intense.)

If she decided on her own that she wanted to be together with the Joker, and purposely changed her life around to smashing skulls with a baseball bat, it is more in line with the comic book character and a stronger character overall.

If she decided on her own that she wanted to be together with the Joker, and purposely changed her life around to smashing skulls with a baseball bat, it is more in line with the comic book character and a stronger character overall.

if they want to go for something realistic it can go either way, but if she joins him on her own just because that only means she was always ****ed up it doesn't mean she was stronger on the contrary it means she had a susceptible mind all along

I'd prefer to see her go crazy slowly like Theon Stark

Letoker sounds more like Leto than anything else, imo. Harley on the other hand, doesn't really sound right, she's not cute, she doesn't have the energy or the bubbly personality that makes her likable, to some people anyway. This Harley just looks crazy, slutty, and like she's been lobotomized to the point that she lacks personality, making her look flaky and oblivious.

She looks alot like the Arkham games Harley. I think she looks pretty good actually! And her looking slutty.. I like that too?

I don't know why but I feel like you contradict yourself. Harley as a mentally broken down character sounds a LOT more logical than girl gets obsessed with a madman and decides she wants to be crazy too. Actually considering you also mention real life situations of people becoming infatuated with their rapists/abusers makes it the better story. Do you want Joker to come out of a chemical plant then too? Cause I always hated that particular origin. Lacks alot of mystery.

But isn't that what happened in the comics? Harley becomes obsessed with the joker and decides she wants to start killing people also. I don't believe in her comics origin that she was tortured by the joker.

I didn't want to say it, but having "rotten" tattooed near your mouth and "damaged" tattooed on your forehead seems like something you would see on a very screwed up pornstar.
