Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Yeah TWC and CW were so generic that WB has yet to even equal the action scenes from TWS, forget reaching the high bar set by CW.

Sorry but that single Warehouse fight in BvS, while good, doesn't match the H2H battles from TWS and CW.

Yeah, generic alright. :lol

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

I'm sure the Russos will deliver the goods with Infinity War but right now my most anticipated superhero movie is Wonder Woman.

Eh, **** Wonder Woman. **** JL. **** Infinity War. **** the MCU. **** the DCEU. **** the FOX-Men. **** pop-corn CBMs in general. There's only one CB related property I'm genuinely looking forward to:

bloodshot-movie-pic.jpg

John Wick's directors, coupled with Valiant's best character, with cues from the OG Terminator and Robocop films, just screams greatness. So, yeah, keep your filthy generic CBMs. I'm riding the Valiant wave baby! I mean, when it hits...

Yeah, the MCU Shade is strong in this thread... But eh, what do I care. I ain't got time for your cookie-cutter CBMs, I'm only interested in fine art. Like the rumoured Spawn reboot, where the budget will be 100M, and Spawn will be a spook, with the main characters being Sam and Twitch. It's gonna hit any day now, Todd has said so...

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

The Drip?

Nope, that's Bloodshot.

Think Wolverine in his early days coupled with the Terminator. And actually, damn great writting. Lemire is killing it at Bloodshot: Reborn.

The red background makes it looks like someone just blew a massive hole through him.

Eh, he's had worse...

PS: Don't search for Bloodshot Island without Safe Search On. Unless you're into Bear/Pony gore porn... Jesus, what is wrong with people?!

Not while I'm drinking man!

;)

Tsk, tsk, tsk... What do I expect from a sheeple? I'll have you know, I graduated from MIT at 13, top of my class, and interacting with you phillistines makes me weep for humanity. Oh, how I wish I could have intelligent conversations about the stars, the universe, string theory and the M-Branes, but alas, no intellect compares to mine...

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Counting down the hours till I get to see this again tonight, the audience (lets be honest, and I) were so pumped opening night I missed certain parts of the dialogue.

I absolutely love the comic splash opening for every character! this thing is a ride from start to finish.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

I agree completely but Marvel and DC are both making really generic films with some okay visuals right now in my opinion. I said it before, I respect DC because they're at least trying to make something thats great I just don't think Snyder is s good enough director to get that done. Marvel has no competition right now so they'll keep pumping out the generic action flicks they release twice a year until Fox or DC start becoming real competition for them.

I do enjoy DC movies the 3 that we have seem so far , with marvel movies, despite the fact that I do like them I always say the Nolan movies ruined comic movies for me because I expect everything to be just as good and that's not possible
Prior to that we used to give these movies a pass just because they were new and we are fans so we were biased . Stuff like ghost rider and dare devil can never come out now and still make money, a lesson world or war craft failed to learn, but no that we know what these movies can be turned in to if you do it right then stuff like green lantern should never see the light of day.

I think block buster movie fatigue can happen and this was the worst summer movie experience in a long time.

I don't see how movies will continue to drawn in crowds when you have each studio making at a min of 3 movies a year not to mention the action movies.

I don't expect to see marvel change its formula it works it just makes for a very predictable ride.

I'm not familiar with that particular elementary school but I'm glad that even at age 13 your parents didn't give up on you. :D

New Spawn (and Blade) movie are long overdue.

With Todd at the helm, we're never gonna get a Spawn movie. Not to mention the book is currently trash. After defeating God and Satan, after becoming God and reshaping reality, Spawn now fights the ultimate fight. He now fights for... Social Justice!!!

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

I'm tired of the Marvel formula so it's DC for me- they are so much more interesting films. Dr Strange looks great visually but bet your bottom dollar it is a formula film by the numbers. Yawn...
Oh its complete a typical origin movie they ave done this Several times already but that by design is what you get when you do an origin movie.

I am not one of those that thinks you need an origin movie right away and I thar justice League is doing that they will introduce aquamarine, flash, and cyborg quickly and we can get this show going.

I have doubts about that unless Thanos turns in to a super bad ass he will be your typical marvel through away villian.

So I am not sure how far they will take him considering it's family friendly

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

I'm grateful the Russos took over for Whedon, his films are just unwatchable to me. I'm in he minority here but Wonder Woman looked really generic to me.

Even though there was zero action I liked the Justice League trailer because of AquaMan and Barry Allen, but I don't really have much faith in the movie.

It does look generic like the first avenger which I liked but predictable

Is all of that true?? :lol

On another note misspellings or not I can't imagine a more epic tattoo experience than "Yeah Margot Robbie did this dressed as Harley Quinn while resting her **** on my hand." :thud:
