Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Welp, if there was any doubt, Clown just blew Ayer's credibility out the water :lol

What about the theatrical cut being his preferred version? How? Ayer never said there wasn't a lot of input or alternate versions (to my knowledge anyway), he just said the final film in theaters was the best version in his opinion.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

We don't know the capacity of her being an accomplice. I mean if Joker were to say he was gonna kill Robin during one of their therapy sessions, that'd make an an accomplice, and it's not like she could tell the police about it. Also, we don't know how long they've been seeing each other. All we know he could have escaped plenty of times before that.

How do we know that Joker has the tattoo in the AA scene? He's in a straight jacket...

A week ago this movie was being ripped apart and fast forward a week and the love has never been stronger! :rock

I just gave more of a cheer for Jye's reaction than for the Americans at Rio. :lol

:lol :lol

I went into this movie knowing EVERYTHING!

The dual movie being mushed together (everyone trying to make it a controversy when it's really just how all movies are made...ALL MOVIES!)

The deaths.

The cameos.

The length of screen time for Batman and Joker.

The music.

The villain.

The beginning.

The middle.

The ending.

The mid credits scene.

I KNEW EVERYTHING!

YET IT STILL KICKED ALL KINDS OF ASS!

THIS MOVIE HAD EMOTION!

THIS MOVIE HAD FUN!!

THIS MOVIE HAD A HEART!!!

I actually teared up in this movie, not once, not twice, but three freaking times, that's a record for me!

I kid you not, I really did...for obviously personal reasons, but it happened, I never know when something is going to affect me, and boy did it!

DEFINATELY OVERALL BETTER THAN BVS even with it missing a warehouse/WW arrival type scene.

The real kicker is that I was NOT able to pick out the supposedly messy editing from the studio interference, IT WAS NOT NOT NOT noticeable to me...

BECAUSE I WAS ENJOYING MYSELF TOO FREAKING MUCH!

Man did Viola, Robbie and Will kick ass in this movie!

Oh, one more thing...I LOVED THE JOKER, I WANT MORE OF HIM!

Well she does have ethical obligations (e.g. Tarsoff 1976) in which she has duty to warn a named target. So she would have to notify police if she can't contact target.:lecture

Ayer said the grill was as a result of dead Robin. Joker already has the grill when he meets Harley according to the film.

Also, we don't know how long they've been seeing each other. All we know he could have escaped plenty of times before that.

We do. Harley met Joker in Arkham...and he already had the metal teeth....it's in the film.

All we know he could have escaped plenty of times before that.

Now you are just making things up that deviates from what's in the actual film.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Cmon man, these guys would like this movie if the beginning, middle and end we're just the credits :lol

Joker has a grill throughout the movie, even in flashbacks before Harley becomes crazy.

Man I was really expecting a FF4 level of disaster going into this, pturtle had scared me.

This movie is in a whole different universe than FF4.

This movie does NOT belong in the Catwoman, Elektra, GR2, Superman 3/4, Batman and Robin, FF4 group!

Yes, but that's what I mean. The procedure to say a vigilante's sidekick is going to be killed, is not the same as telling the cops a psycho plans to murder and rape a family.

That's what I'm saying. And seeing that she willingly helped him escape, we know her morals aren't in any functioning condition.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

I was having so much fun watching the movie but I also was kind of braced for the other shoe to drop. None of the trailers I'd seen had even a millisecond of the final battle and I was getting worried that after fighting their way through the city that they'd have some two second fight with the main bad guy and the movie would be over. I was very entertained by the surprise Gozer fight at the end. Didn't feel anticlimactic at all to me.
