DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

pturtle is this you? :lol

Nope, but I can definitely see why you would think that :lol

Footage of pturtle watching SS has surfaced.

Act 3

Yes it is. He can deny it if he wants to, but it's him. No one else would make an 11 minute video on how this pretty harmless movie broke them. I know it's you pturtle, just admit it man! :lol

jk

But wow, I don't understand how SS is the movie that would break a fan from the DCEU if they enjoyed BvS. They barely feel like they belong in the same universe. Does he think WW and JL are going to be music videos with sexy witches too?

:lol :lol :lol

I can see how though, it brings in a lot of plot holes and inconsistencies in the DCEU, also knowing that Batfleck's arch-nemesis is this Joker, is something can really take away from the character. It really does make Batfleck look bad knowing he's pretty much the other side of the same coin to Letoker.

I'm personally not a fan of the DCEU, I'm rooting for them but their first 3 movies have really failed me. MOS I thought was going to be amazing based on the amazing trailers with Nolan's named attached to it, I expected BvS to be as bad as MOS was for me but it turned out worse and SS I thought was going to be my favorite superhero movie of the year turned out to make my top 3 worse superhero movies list and forced me to put a MCU movie as my number one superhero movie of the year. I think Wonder Woman looks terrible but I did sort of like that quick Justice League teaser. For some reason though, especially after SS I'm more interested In the DCEU, I'm really interested to see how they cam somehow make this Joker work, and to see if Affleck can actually redeem that character.

wonder woman might be the first current dc movie with a fresh score regardless of how it turns out.

that vimeo vid is entertaining as hell. makes the movie look much more fun that it was. the deadshot bullets part was pretty iconic. they even managed the impossible and made Joker seem entertaining :lol

I'm not a huge fan of Deadshot's costume and mask, but it looks amazing in that video.

that song is definitely growing on me a lot. I just watched that clip at least 9 times right now. Loved the clips to the song. I kind of hope there are a lot of fan edits of this movie because this movie is definitely good candidate for more stuff like this.
I hope to see more music videos made from SS or more fan stuff. this clip was definitely awesome

I made that same prediction for myself based on the trailers and what we were hearing about Leto on set. This was before I saw Civil War. I get what you're saying about DCEU because right now its more like a morbid curiosity for me to see what they do, with a hint of wishful thinking that they might make a movie I'll love to watch.

Oh man, thx a lot 2016 for ensuring Heath Ledger remains on top of the cbm villain list by giving us these guys.

Who would have thought that Zemo would come out of nowhere (in street clothes no less) and upstage all those icons?

Harley looks good in that pic though :monkey5

Have you seen this new video that talks about what makes the TDK joker such a good villain in that film? It's pretty good.

I said the same thing to Gasper a while back, that movie is review proof, no way will it get negative reviews, if by some miracle that ends up happening that the DCEU just might be finished.

Yup, I'm just too damn curious on all of their films now, and all of the controversy that comes with them.

Damn, this has been a year of terrible villains.

Who would have thought that Zemo would come out of nowhere (in street clothes no less) and upstage all those icons?

I thought Zemo was easily the worst part of Civil War, but at least his performance wasn't as bad as the 3 villains Kryptonian posted.
