Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Who would have thought that Zemo would come out of nowhere (in street clothes no less) and upstage all those icons?

:lol:lol

Harley looks good in that pic though :monkey5

Have you seen this new video that talks about what makes the TDK joker such a good villain in that film? It's pretty good.

Yep, Harley looks like a sexy Bruce Timm drawing.

Thanks for the link, that was a great analysis of Joker's role as a Batman villain. Subscribed!

Can anyone tell me what The new WW film is about? All I seen was pretty action shots and cute dialog.

Havent checked the thread in a while but were people bothered by croc ´s look?
His face was ok (Reminded me of those henchmen from supermario Bros movie tho) but that ridiculous small and non muscular body wtf?!
That moment where he goes underwater you can see how small is the actor next to Scott Eastwood.

Still hope Ayer gets to release his original cut.
Only way im seeing this again.

I can forgive how Croc looks considering he was 99% practical (although he was too thin as you mentioned), but I feel like he overplayed his part just a tad. I get that he was playing a cannibalistic crocodile man, but sometimes it seemed like a bit much.

it's about WW's first interaction with men, and how she helped win us the First World War. (similar to the first avenger, but Disney puked all over that trash pile) seemed pretty obvious even from the trailer.

Adewale is 1 cm higher than Eatwood.
Body's fine, the proctetic head's too big.
We've had too much of the "no muscles" discussion regarding Hardy's Bane. :lol
Real life natural strongmen aren't ripped.

what an amazing video, truly great analysis. the dark knight and this joker might be the best batman movie we've had. i love how he also explains why the ending with the ferries was so perfect as well.
i really liked it, thanks.
i love the line that "the joker is not great just because he laughs and acts crazy" :lol:lol oh man... was that a dig at Leto's JINO?

Dark Knights joker might be the best live joker just because of the points he makes, not even Burton's joker got to the level this joker did

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

TDK Joker was too OTT in terms of performance and too cartoony looking in terms of wardrobe for the pseudo-realistic universe they were tryin' to create back there. He's a perfect fit for Snyderverse tho. :lol

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

as trolley as that sounds, Ledger's version would fit right in.

Hell, if they had the balls they could of made the nobats trilogy fit in, batman retires, superman comes out of the woodwork in MOS, then BvS. it can already fit, if you overlook casting.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

It would be funny if Boomerang mentions that he found his coat laying in the snow by City Hall after a riot.

What about real life strongmen with Crocodile skin?

I gotta disagree, I think Nicholson's Joker actually fits right in, as well the Burton-verse as a hole. The origins, motivations, explanations etc.... all work similarly to Burton's universe.

I'm honestly kind of sick of cannibal monster Croc. I feel like, if you played your cards right, he could be a very sympathetic character.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Croc is sympathetic enough even when he's a cannibal monster.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

I felt like the whole character could've been cut from SS, altogether. He didn't have any character development, whatsoever. All the ****er did was eat people and watch BET.
