This week! I must say Supes is not a very spooktacular kinda guy.

LOL! Yeah Chin, he doesn't seem very spooky of scary. Oh well, so long as he goes up in the next week or two, there will be a lot of happy campers around here.

Not sure when Supes will be released but there are still a few SDCC '12pieces that are yet to be put up for Pre Order...

Superman PF
Dr. Doom LSF
Batmobile 1966 1/6 Scale
Catwoman LSF

to name a few....

Well Doom has an evil theme. So he may be a safe bet.

I hope so. I think that may be my first LSF :)

Agreed! ^

This is definately going to be my first LSF purchase. I have thought long and hard about whether to purchase the Doom Premium Format and due to the price they are giong for these days, for the same money i can pick up a Doom that dwarfs the PF in size and also looks better IMO...when i saw this statue at the SDCC i thought to myself that it was one of the best statues that i have ever seen! It was that good! :thud:

That looks like it's from the animated adaptation of "What's so funny about truth, justice and the American way?" which is a comic (and animated movie) which does a great job and showing why a dark and brooding or grim and gritty Superman is a really bad idea and why Superman being positive and optimistic is such a super thing.

Yeah I know there is wiggle room with the Bestas. What I am also considering is the price point where you get, at least here in Canada, about a whole other single Besta for about $100 more then a double. I need to do some more looking in person.

The Rona one may get some more of my attention later today. Also I may go to a custom plexiglas/glass store here in Toronto. If a could get the doors for even the same price as ikea it would be worth it.

I'm in Canada too.

Besta = $110
3 Glass doors = $45 each ($135)
3 Inreda LED lights = $30 each ($90)

It's expensive but it's worth it. I can put two regular sized PF's per shelf or one Large.

It's all those bits and pieces that make the price jump up. Don't forget the Inreda connection cords and power supply. I got a double-shelf unit and with all the other stuff, it was $660 + tax total. It's not cheap but I'm glad I went with the double-shelf. Now I just have to fill it up with statues.

I loved the book, the animation in the film was a little...off, but still pretty good.

That it is. I think they called it Superman vs. the Elite. I really hate the boy scout ending. LOL
