I think the filmmaker left it up to the audience to decide. like I posted earlier, you would think she would have called the cops right away. But that didn't happen. Why not?

Regarding killing her and the kid that?s a 50/50.

The whole relationship was in his head. He never went out with her at all. The only moment that was real was when they were in the elevator and she points a "gun" to her head, which Arthur does twice as a response to her, but the second and final time was when he was in her apartment, and that was the last time we saw her. Next scene is him in his apartment laughing.

However, there's a deleted scene in the trailer where Joker is walking in the building hallway with fake flowers. I was expecting him to give the fake flowers to his fake girlfriend before the stairs dance scene. Why else would he be walking with flowers? I think there's one final scene with her but it was cut. Either he gives them to her or leaves them in front of her apartment because she's dead.

The theory of the entire movie being in Joker?s head hence his you wouldn?t understand the joke line is really taking off.

So a fantasy inside of a fantasy.

The only real part is him killing the final therapist and being chased by the orderly.

If that turns out to be the case people are going to turn on this movie faster than you can say Scorsese is just angry he wasn?t asked to direct AntMan.

Interestingly, the scene goes like this, he says he had a bad day then looks at her and points to his head with a finger gun. The very next scene is him walking in the hallway. It kind of plays out exactly like his final scene with the therapist. The only difference is the bloody footprints at the end, so maybe he didn't kill him. Still, when Arthur was following her, the music was straight out of a horror film. He was clearly obsess with her, so who knows?

It's hard to tell what was actually real once he stopped taking his medication. I think that was the point of that scene.

When Arthur went in the fridge, I thought, wouldn't it be a hell of a twist if he came out of it as Mr. Freeze and the film was actually a Mr Freeze origin, then I laughed. I was the only one laughing in the theater.

Was that to show more suicidal thoughts as a build up to the finale when surprise he kills Murray not himself.

Ok who can pick out the ONE thing that proves the entire movie was a fantasy.

The one obvious yet cleverly overlooked thing.

Ok you give up here goes lol

1981 there was no way to film Joker?s comedy club performance unless it was 8mm camera forget 16mm no way.

Murray?s footage looked like VHS.

He would accidentally drop one of the grenades on the floor or they would fly out of his jacket while he spins, killing veryone in that room including himself. The end.
