^ Either that or a Hush variant with scarred Bruce Wayne face. That would be very easy for them to make since it only requires a head swap with minor modifications.
Not sure that would actually sell well though thinking about it....

I would be pissed if they did that. There is no reason the regular Hush figure can't come with both heads. Specially since DCD has been doing that lately (Brightest Day Deadman comes to mind). Heck, if anything, the masked head should be the exclusive as he had more screen time with it off!

^ The Hush figure at NYCC had 2 guns as accessories so I would presume that's all we'll end up with for him. An extra head aswell seems like a lot. Would be cool of they did though.
More importantly is wether or not wave 1 Batman gets another head or not. Guess we'll found out fairly soon-ish.

whoa, is Hush in the game? Finished the main campaign, but still at just 50% complete. I have really enjoyed the side missions

Deadman came with two heads, a mask to hold, a lantern, and a base. So no, its not too much to ask for IMO.

Yeah, its just a small, tiny cameo in a side mission. He'll probably have a larger role in the next game.

The good news -
It seems that series 1 is definitely coming out this month after-all
DC Direct have officially moved these to 'in stores this month' on their homepage, and in-package pics have already been shown on The Fwoosh. It seems the figures have been released in Hong Kong already too.

The bad news -
No alternate head for the Bruce/Batman figure. He's officially called 'Batman (infected)', and the Bruce head has the Titan infection details painted on it.
Looks as though the Cryptographic Sequencer accessory has a flip open feature which is a nice touch.
Just a shame about no extra head.... oh well, here's hoping for a future regular Batman in these same colours.

That is good news! I'm quite happy to have been wrong about them not coming out this month. Especially since I pre-paid for these so they seem Free to me right now

But that is very weak of DCD to not include a cowled head as well. I mean, the figure isn't even game accurate in the slightest right now. The only time he was maskless was for a brief moment when Talia lifts it up. And the suit was pretty beat up by then, heck, Two-face shot in practically from the get-go. Seems like DCD is just milking their Batman options, when they have actual, decent ones to choose from thanks to the alternate skins

Where'd you get the information on the Titan painting on the Wayne? I was kinda hoping for just a Bruce Wayne head ... not a weirdly painted one.

The pics show the blue/purple veins on his face. Remember people thought he had a black eye? Its just the veins near that eye. Its defintely not just a plain Wayne head.

I'll pick up Robin and probably leave the other two. Harley is really only worth getting if I had the sickened Joker figure as well. She'd look odd on her own.

Maskless Batman was always a mehh figure anyway. Should it be rereleased with a regular cowl head then it'll be a buy, though.

Also, I do hate it when someone gets figures before anyone else, but is one of those people who doesn't open them. So you get some not-that-great photos of them, and have to wait for someone else to get them and open them and give some proper photos.

I know what you mean! It also bugs me when I look at videos on YouTube only to find it's 6 minutes of looking at a figure through the package! lol
If you're going to do a review of some new figures the very least thing you have to do is open them up!!

Yeah I agree, he's a great figure! Anyone considering him should definitely go for it.
I actually prefer it over the Arkham Asylum version now - the sickened headsculpt seems to have captured more of an in-game likeness than the AA version, and the laughing expression looks great too. Can't wait to get the new Harley to go with him.


Really looking forward to AC series 1 now. I think Harley is the one I'm anticipating most - I love the new design and it'll be nice not having her the same height as Joker!
Robin looks great and 100x better than the Mattel version that's for sure. Batman does actually look cool, but there's no denying he suffers because of the lack of an alternate head. It's a shame too since from the neck down he looks like a perfect in-game version. As Buttmunch said, the least they could have done is add the game-specific damage to the suit since there's no extra head. Just hope we get a masked version at some point with the same paint apps.

I've read in a few places now that the Arkham City series 1 figures are going to be out on the 14th instead of the 21st. Could be true aswell since they're already out in Hong kong, and a couple of eBay pre-orderes have mentioned the 14th too....
