Probably taller too.
He definitely doesn't offer me anything. His irreverent and self-aware shtick is nothing new. 20 years ago Poison Ivy was making references to her own action figure. Logan calling Xavier "Wheels," RDJ calling Thor "Shakespeare in the Park" or Hawkeye "Legolas" was funny and new back in the day between 2000-2012 but those moments in and of themselves don't stand out in current films. So when Deadpool calls that one mutant chick "Sinead O'Connor" I see a character who's just trying to piggyback on jokes that have been made many times before.
Ferris Bueller and Austin Powers both did better jobs at breaking the fourth wall and the raunchy humor is just South Park all over again. But I guess it served its purpose if it was a stepping stone to Logan getting green lit.
I bet DP2 is going to be better than IW, SW:HS, and Black Panther. Oh yeah, there's Aquamomoa...
What did you think of DP1?
I liked the action and the characters, but I'm not a big fan of the raunchy humor. Less of that would be nice. 7/10

Yeah, that's the whole gimmick here. It's a legit reason not to like something, but it's like watching South Park and wanting less raunchy humor. Better to go with the Simpsons. That's how Deadpool is
Points if the next pic is him Macho Man dropping that elbow on the Kidpool.

I had those early issues of New Mutants/X-Force where DP was first introduced and I don't recall him cussing up a storm or wanting to jerk off/be sodomized or any of that. So I'm assuming the South Park humor was made to be a part of the character much later.
