I have a PC, but I have always preferred Mac. My PC gets the job done, so I'm happy for now
Macs need to have some gaming. That is changing though. Nvidia is releasing a mac compatible GeForce GTX 285 card. This will destroy any of the other mac videocard option for gaming. As long as Starcraft II and Diablo III mac versions run well, I'd be happy.

If youre not using a computer for graphics design or things of that nature, what are you doing on a Mac?
And why do people always think that there are no viruses or spyware with Macs?
Simple, because I wanted something for day to day use that will not slow down over time. I also wanted something that was easy to use and requires far less work to keep it running good. Sure I know that they can get viruses but your chances are about 1% that you will get anything that will hurt the computer.
I am not bashing PC's. No sir. I am just saying I have been through 2 of them in about 4 years. So I wanted to change it up and try something different. I based my decision on lots of research as well as talking to the IT proffesionals that work in my office.
Trust me back when I gamed on my PC I would never have wanted a Mac. However, now I don't game on any computer.
So I am giving it a chance. I don't know why people are getting so angry at the Mac people. It's kinda funny and I guess I am missing something.
Anyway I will report in after a about a months use. Usually that's about how long it would take my PC's to start slowing down and requiring work. So I am anxious to see what happens with my new Mac. Only time will tell.
well im not one getting angry at mac people at all. i just always saw them as more of a tool for design applications...however like the ipod and most apple products, they are just way over-hyped due to great publicity from celebrities and the like. Maybe due to its more fashionable and obscure designs?
im on my laptop that is about 4 years old. mind you, i spent a few k on it when i first bought it, so it's still holding up pretty good now, though out dated in many ways. mainly due to the lack of dual core processing. but ive not had it slow down much at all on me. I had to reformat it twice, but that was due to a faulty hard drive that i got replaced and since then ive changed out that hard drive and it's been good ever since. like any computer no matter what brand....just be cautious of what you download or what you install onto it.
Is there a choice for "I have 5 Macs"? Between my husband and I:
(2) G5 towers
(1) 12" PowerBook
(1) 15" iBook
(1) 17" MacBook Pro
(of course, 2 of them are Sideshow's)
I was PC-only for 10+ years, but now, like they say.... I've gone Mac and I'll NEVER go back
PC
You forgot the option for "have PC but want people to think I'm cool and have a Mac"
I'm a Mac user too, Keith.
And... your avatar seriously rocks!
DId you just acquire the 1:6 Vlad Tepes?
Only thing about a mac I do NOT like is the DRM stuff from iTunes which is the reason I never had a IPod. MP3's should be free to rome wherever and whenever they want.
Here is a result I got off google:

Just google search "transfer from iPod to computer" and just find the article you need.
