Cumberbatch, he's OK, but nothing special, and is one of these overrated celebrities of the moment we frequently run across. Think Clive Owen about a decade ago.

Who can name a single character that Clive Owen has played? Cumberbatch has Sherlock, Khan, Strange, Smaug and high profile roles in other films like August Osage County (where he was fantastically cast against type) and The Imitation Game.

10 years ago people could tell you what Owen was in I'm sure, as he was in many high profile movies, or Colin Farrell, or any number of others. This is just the typical cycle. Benepatch playing well known roles will maybe make folks remember him slightly better, but his Sherlock and Khan are from shows/movies with a pretty short shelf-life IMO. We'll see newer and (hopefully) better iterations of those stories/franchises in the not-too-distant future. I actually saw the August movie. It was OK, he was OK in it, but nothing mind blowing. Owen is also a good actor for what it's worth. But Cumberpatch is overrated. Those Hobbit movies are probably better left off the resume.

I don't think he's overrated but he's starting to pop up EVERYWHERE. And I must say the only role where I find him to be absolutely fantastic as an actor is in Sherlock with his scenes in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy to be the best parts of that film.

Clive Owen is a good actor, He's starred in few great movies when he was relevant, Children of Men being his best.

Cumberbatch is great, even before he blew up he was really good in movies like Starter for 10 and Atonement, I think he'll make for a great Doctor Strange. Tinker Tailor and August Osage show his range as an actor.

Will Smith is another great actor that all of a sudden people hate for some reason, like Robert Downey, Smith has a ton of screen presence and charisma that can probably turn a C list character like Deadshot into an A list character like Iron Man is now.

Oprah as Amanda Waller is absolutely perfect casting and pretty much free promotion after that for WB, I really hope they can sign her.

What's weird about that?

She's an actress, that looks the part and has plenty of star power.

I'm sure Oprah would have been a better Storm than Halle ever was.

And I don't think Amanda Waller was ever labeled as a super villain. Shes in a sense, a female, Nick Fury that does a little more dirty work. Least that's what I got from JLA and even the JLA animated series...wait why have we been conversing about Amanda Waller here? XD

The film director posted this on his twitter :)

I think that'll go to Ant-Man, I don't think anyone is doubting this movie in anyway, and it seems Marvel has huge long-term plans for Strange.

Not much hope in Ant Man, IMO. To the point if we get to House of M.

Ant Man will be a Thor. Not bad, but not something people will go for. Strange will probably be like GoTG and come out spectacular.

I dunno. Ant man may be pretty good. I do agree that MCU will put more emphasis on Strange going forward than Ant man.

Oh lord please put a Man-Thing cameo in this picture ....please...can I get an Amen!

Tilda Swinton (Snowpiercer) is close to finalizing a deal with Marvel Studios to play the Ancient One in the Doctor Strange movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Ancient One is Doctor Strange's mentor, the previous Sorcerer Supreme, and also the man who trained the film's rumored villain, Baron Mordo.

If a deal gets done, The Grand Budapest Hotel and Moonrise Kingdom actress will be mentoring Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock). It will also mean that the Tibetan mystic will be going through a gender swap as the Ancient One is a male character in the comics
