Looks boring, deja vu, generic.
Tilda swinton is ridiculous.
The visuals are uninspired, yeah the source material is trippy and was there before but thats no excuse.
It has been seen in other movies they should have find original stuff to put on screen. Lazy.
Will see it because of Cumberbatch and because a friend is supervising the fx (for most of Marvel flicks actually).

Filming wrapped just last week, and it's not like they're gonna show the money shots months before the film hits. Give it a rest, geez, it's just a teaser.

Waaay too bleak!
This is one character that should have colorful and otherworldly visuals, how could they **** up?!
I liked the dialogs but everything else looks too generic, I'm disappointed.
Here's hope it's gonna be a good film at least.

Eh, it depends. Strange is a pretty dark character. Stuff like "The Oath", "Into Shamballa" and "What's bothering you Stephen?" are, for the most part, bleak. Hell, just last year he used Black Magic, became a Cthulhu, tried to sell his soul, and murdered the JLA-Homage team. The various dimensions and spells are colorful tes, and according to the D23 footage and concept art we'll be seeing that, but the character/comic is rather mature.

Even in your examples there was lots of basic colors and imaginative stuff instead of desaturation and movin' walls.

I really hope so, it's a shame that posters look better than the film itself.

Dumb for them to use the Inception flipping city and it looks worse than Inception.

Just do your own stuff, make that **** trippy, not blatantly copy from other movies.

well it was tongue-in-cheek- i love the marvel films but some of them are average at best and this looks nothing special as far as the trailer

Well that was disappointing. That effect with doctor strange leaving his body after being hit by swinton was pretty bad. The origin stuff looks straight up boring. I don't know much about Dr. Strange, but this doesn't look to be the huge otherworldly risk most people were mking it out to be. The buildings moving looked pretty cool, very inception-y though. Does any one know if he gets those leopard gloves in the movie? I used to have a marvel legends action figure of him and was obsessed with it.

Well sure, the visuals should be colourful and since Fiege compared it to Fantasia I'm sure they will be, but the character of Doctor Strange is rather bleak.

Have to agree with this.
GotG teaser trailer was awesomely stylish and cool. The actual film had very little of that.
Maybe it's gonna be reverse here.

I'm not sayin' I didn't like the teaser. The origins stuff feels really good, just not... strange enough.
