Definitely a valid point. And just as Deckard doesn't speak for all non-VIPs, I'm sure that Entropy doesn't speak for all VIPs. Those guys are just most vocal. Rainman should factor all this stuff in, IMO.

The VIP system has been around before you even took notice of Rainman's stuffs. Now that hes made a figure you are interested in, suddenly you wanna tell the guy how to run his show? And even absurdly calling that its a political bull____

Hes been a gentlemen enough to tell everyone honestly bout it, he couldve keep quiet and not tell anyone. But thats not how he rolls, as he have already said a while ago; hes not motivated by money.

Like Entropy said, had there not been a number mentioned prior to the VIP PO, I wouldnt mind if he up it by 30, heck he can increase it by 50 or 100 for all I care.

The VIP system has worked all this time without any problems so far. Hes been gracious to ask us if its ok to increase it to 30, which we are all allowed to have comments.

Never. Of course he doesn't know how many he may sell before hand, but not telling people that such a system is in place is bull____ and unfair.

Scroll thru the 100 pages here and quote for me where anyone points out there is a VIP system where people are going to have a shot at this before that announced date. This is the way most of us have found out. This thread, this debacle. Just today.

Whilst the situation that has arisen really is unfortunate, it really is unfair to have a pop at Rainman for not telling everyone the situation as if he did it in a malicious way.

This was an unprecedented situation whereby the VIP orders have exceeded the fullset amounts and Rainman merely made repeat customers of fullsets VIPs as a way of thanking them for their business.

I can totally understand your point of view. And right now, your anger is taking control of you.
Happened to me when I got a normal TT on my fullset v2 tyler, while most people got a narrow. I was pissed like you are right now, but after a couple of days, I'm calmed down. And decided to just shell out a couple of $ more and get a narrow to replace the body.

Fair? Not really.. I had to shell out $80 more (as narrow TT was scarce back then), but I'm glad I kept my v2 tyler, as its still my favorite figure from my collection. Luckily, I didn't get rid of it just because I was pissed that mine came with a normal TT. But I did think bout it initially when I first realized it, so yeah... Just chill a bit for a minute here and not make such a hasty decision.

I sold my HT Blade to get the painted head/clothing set and if my DX Batman sells i'll try for a full set!
I have loved 'Big Lebowski' since it hit cinemas (unlike some people who just watched it last week).
I got Rainman's 'Blondie' head/clothing set back in the day, and would of loved to have got more figures by Rainman.
Just cos i ain't got all of Rainman's full figures don't make me any less VIP than anyone else.
Everyone should have a shot at any figure, regardless of status, if ya there on the night and snag one, awesome, if not then tough ____!

I think it is very stand up of Rainman to come here and explain the situation openly and honestly. It sucks that some people who genuinely want this figure won't get one, but with only 20 being made and clearly more than 20 people ready to drop money on it some people were going to get left out no matter what.

It does seem like the VIPs should have their say as they have been more invested over time with Rainman and his mission. Of course at the end of the day it will be his to decide, but if he listened to everyone there would be an ES of 100 and they'd only cost $250
