DX02 residue in abdominal area, has yours shown signs of it?

Yeah I meant the bicep. Under the shoulder armor as reported by others. The abs also leak for me too. It's not that bad YET. But we will see how it does I'm going to see if it gets bad before I take pictures of it and send it to Hot Toys. I dont think with my amount of leaking they'll offer to replace it.

On a side note. I was cutting apart my sonar head to make a cowl and noticed that there was a drop of oil at the top of the neck joint. Has anyone else seen this? It was on top of the bulb of the neck for the sonar. Anyone else see this?

Hey that's just how my sonar head was when i first received it.I wiped the drop of oil and it never appeared again but i thought that was pretty weird.Also,just so everyone knows it's day 4 and the suit still goin strong and dry.I do have the belt with holster on him as well as the cape just so you know.I'll take some PICS tomorrow to post .

Yeah I was trying to make a cowl for my Bruce Wayne. The sonar head was the easiest to cut up.

mine had it too, bt it never appeared after i wipe it off, no worries.

Depends, they're being stubborn about replacements, they seem to want pictures and copies of receipts to even consider it, and that's if they respond to your emails. If you can, might want to go through your dealer or did you not get this from a dealer.

Got it from PapitoMX from here who got it from Toys2. He sent me his receipt from Toys2 and I sent Hot Toys a copy of it and a few pictures of the oil problem. Hope they do an exchange or else ill have to see if Toys2 will do it.

Me neither. Either way I hope I get a replacement if not oh well. What can I do? I may have to switch it with a DCD release one and get an exchange. Underhanded I know but what would you do?

Yeah that's why I said I'm fine with it. The oil doesn't bother me all that much. It's really not that bad, just the lower abs. I'm just hoping that I could get one of the new bodies with the fixed abs. If not this ones fine. I have 2 others from the DCD waiting for me.

I'd say try to get this replaced and if it doesn't happen just enjoy the two from DCD which have a shot at being fine.

yeah that's what i'm doing. I'm enjoying this one actually. Just took a pic of him and my Superman. This is actually one of my favs. So no regrets until the rubber starts cracking. Hopefully that doesn't happen.

The oil isn't really that bad. If I dont wipe it it's fine. It just covers the bottom two plates and stays as is. It hasn't spread yet. It's a little pre-mature but from what PapitoMX said it was the same way for him. So this has had it's run so hopefully this is the final outcome.

how many did you actually get San?

i'm thinking of getting one more down the line. perhaps when the DCD batch comes out even though, again, my figure was one of the better ones with no leaks after 2 days.
