I want a 1/6 scale figure of Schwarzenegger. I was waiting for DX10 a long time and it doesn't look so good in my opinion from this pics. Maybe i should wait for youtube review. I already have T-1000 and i want Arnie from the same movie but i don't like this figure( DX10). What do you think?Should i buy Arnie from T1 or wait for another hot toys attempt at T-800 from T2?

Or you can buy one of my MMS117.



No but seriously, speaking on conflicting opinions I'd say this is one of the worst ones in recent memory. It seems I hear more hate for this than anything. I think it's a bit overboard though. I feel like there is just as many problems with the mms117 sculpt as with this one maybe even more. I think it's the disappointment of not getting a BD version than anything.

I don't know what figure to buy?
Hot Toys Terminator from T1 (mms136) or DX10?
Which is better?

I'd go with the MMS 136 if I could only choose one.

The look is much more unique with the 80s shirt, fatigues, gloves and silver studs.

Then that .45 long slide and the damaged arm with surgery tools. It's just a great figure all around, one of my favorites.

Thank you on your offer , but i don't like mms117 sculpt. I was so excited for DX10 but now i'm very disappointed by this pics. I'll wait for youtube review and if this figure is awful in hand i'll buy Arnie from T1.

Well lets put it this way MMS136 is far more unanimously praised.

This figure....well I don't think I've seen so many contradictory views on a figure in quite a while.

The T1 figure would seem to be a safer bet if other people's opinions are important to you here.

Point 1: yes mms136 is a win all around.

Point 2: This is true but its to early to tell, just look at the dx luke, it was crapped on with the first wave of pic's but is now reguarded as great now that its in peoples hands.

Point 3: your opinion is the one that matters most, don't worry what others think.

Im actually going to be in the market for a second DX10 Headsculpt to replace my Toadinator head. So if anyone is selling or willing to trade one let me know. I will have an extra DX11 Laughing Sculpt up for trade for one. (Whenever HT decides to release him).

I may have use for extra DX10 heads myself but I'll need to see it in person. To be honest, much as I was gagging for them, OMGs pics kinda put doubt in my mind about the PERS. I may end up agreeing with the anti-PERS brigade.

Certain lighting conditions make the hair look better, less toyish.

Diagonal views of the neck seem to be awful - really make it look like a tree trunk or horse neck - exactly like MMS117. Straight-front-on though and the neck looks fine.

Yeah, I think he looks fantastic with his sunglasses on. I don't think it looks all that bad without them either. Better than the mms117 at least. It's really about picking your poison.

That will be a reality one day. Theres just no way both HT and Enterbay will overlook that part of the film. I'll be baffled if neither end up doing it.

If you never bought any of the COOmodel sets then I'd say yes it is. But it might suit you to keep the black shirt and rosebox from the MMS117 if you want a single all-encompassing T-800. I would have said keep the endo arm too but it looks like it isn't compatible.
