I'm not a Republican, but nice try! Seriously, while Bush has many faults, he has done some good as well. Like I said, If the Dems wanted to win they would have put real candidates up against Bush.

Im heavy into the health of the environment.,.. I really liked Gore..

As for McCain and Obama, either would be a vast improvement over Bush.. However I really do not like the Palin choice at all.. So its Obama all the way for me this time around.

Umm...I didn't call Bodie anything but I brought attention to the way he answered back. Noticed I used sarcasm at his answer, and I did not mean to attack him. However, his answer took a different course. I am not here to start name calling. It's not as black and white as people, like Bodie, make it out to be. Bush foresaw the issue back in the early 2000s and was blocked by members of congress, which included Obama. There are many Republicans involved too. I just want people to see that. This is a bipartisan problem.

Obama, appearing on CNN's "The Situation Room" after the meeting, said there "has to be a sense of urgency on the part of everybody. ... We've got to move rapidly."

and it goes on to praise and bless Obama.

When asked about McCain's contribution, you get this...

"I'm not quite sure what John McCain said at the meeting. He said something. ... He had no indication he was for any particular plans. I don't know where he is on all of this," Dodd said.

Jesus! It's almost comical how geared the media is towards Obama. This may be the first election where the media elects a president for us.

You do see in the article that McCain didn't go to Washington immediately but instead had an interview with Katie Couric in New York. I guess Katie trumps all.
