Re: English Premier League EPL - 2010-2011 Season

So what do you guys think of the switch the barcodes made this week? Pardew? Seems pretty lackluster. With Jol stepping down at Ajax at the same time as Chrissy getting the axe (poor Chrissy :( ) I thought the writing was on the wall.

Re: English Premier League EPL - 2010-2011 Season

Yeah vdv saw a dutch specialist this week who is known for speeding up recovery.... helped robben in the world cup when he should have probably not made it.
Kaboul has really impressed me this season. He always used to switch off but your right, he's big, quick and calm under pressure.
Still not convinced with BAE. He can sometimes play really well then he will go and do something stupid or give away a penalty.
Think we need a new, quality left back.

Remember back when our best left back was our number two right back? :lol Not that I have full confidence in BEA either but at least he's pretty good.. esspecially when you remember just a few years back when all of our left sided players were right footed. :(

Was it the same doctor that had Van Persie putting goat foreskin or something weird on his knee last year?

Re: English Premier League EPL - 2010-2011 Season

Come on vasith lighten up lol.
And besides, your making spurs jokes relating to kids beeing beaten and someone dead in the sea... Pot, kettle and.. springs to mind.

Re: English Premier League EPL - 2010-2011 Season

I think its is the same guy. He is well known throughout europe for speeding up healing....
I just think benoit will cost us 6 to 9 points a season which we cant afford to do especially now city are in the top 4.
Not sure i like the idea of us signing Johnson either. good going forward but cant defend to well.

Re: English Premier League EPL - 2010-2011 Season

Yep. Would love us to sign adam johnson but glenn cannot defend. Pavs also close to agreeing a new contract too.

Re: English Premier League EPL - 2010-2011 Season

Yeah, I read the Pavs stuff... Glenn is brilliant going forward but that's not really what we need now is it? Maybe Harry can make a difference?

Those are fictitious people in a generic joke. You made a remark about a real person. There is a bit of a difference. And molesting kids isnt something to joke about.

Re: English Premier League EPL - 2010-2011 Season

Well if your going to be pedantic, I didnt make any remark to anyone by name and therefore is open to interpretation.
Molesting kids isnt something to joke about but beating kids is???
hmmm

ahhh some things change in time.......the arsenal/spurs hatred doesn't :lol

Re: English Premier League EPL - 2010-2011 Season

Heard today King back in training next week, doesnt need an op and Woodgate even getting close ish to a return.

Just going to feed my pig, un strap him so he's ready to fly.

No VDV Sunday... No Lampard either, so that's good.

Woodgate?????? :slap Things sounded so bad a few months back I just figured he was finished. Myabe that's why Bassong was talking of going to PSG or where ever. If Woody and Ledders come back he'll most likely be 5th choice CB... maybe even 6th since Kaboul is a CB also, though his time at RB has been spledid and I'd just leave him there if we can. :yess:

Fat Sam in for Keano and Bents?

Re: English Premier League EPL - 2010-2011 Season

Yep vdv just short but modric is back and kaboul trained today and will tomorrow.I kinda wish chelski had won a few as although they are there to be beat, they have to turn it around sometime.
Make or break for woodgate. He might train in the next 2 weeks and try and make the squad for end of jan. Really hope he makes it as he is such a class defender.
I think keane will go villa or maybe back to wolves. Theres talk of a swap, niko for pienaar

Re: English Premier League EPL - 2010-2011 Season

Man Utd 1-0 Arsenal

Should have been at least 1 more as the fat Scouser missed a penalty but they still got the 3 points so it doesn't really matter :clap

Teams that win the Premiership generally only lose 5 or 6 games and Arsenal have lost 5 already, Chelsea have lost 4 and if Tevez leaves City will sink like a brick.

Despite having the Diet version of Ronaldo on the wing, 2 misfiring forwards and the least creative midfield in years United are still unbeaten, a couple of points ahead at the top and have a game in hand :)

Re: English Premier League EPL - 2010-2011 Season

Uggggg

We need to start Walcott in place of Arshavin. I love Andre but his head is not in the game. Second place isn't the end of the world. MAnu and Chelsea will beat each other up next weekend. We play Stoke at home..should be easy 3 points. Should be top of the table by next Monday again.

Re: English Premier League EPL - 2010-2011 Season

Sunday's game was a horror for me... We dominated Chelsea for a half then let them back into it through sloppy, sloppy play by Gomes... It felt like we won a point based on the PK save but in all honesty we lost two due to Gomes having his head placed firmly in his ass.

Re: English Premier League EPL - 2010-2011 Season

To be fair i thought it was a fair result and if you said 7 points form chelski, ar5ena1 and liverpool, i would have snapped ur hand off.
I think city might build a lead over christmas as thay have an easy run in and im sure they will replace tevez with a very good replacement.
Sir alex is the best manager and i think its uniteds to lose this season.
