Wow. I want a new WotD from EB, but it seems I might have to bash one together before an official WotD figure is released by EB or HT

I double checked the released dates on the EB site and it had the Kato as the latest prior to BTS.

Anyway, I agree they should revisit WOtD. Game of Death is great and all but how many GOD BL's does this company really need to pump out?

Half my BL display is black and gold, I feel like a Steeler fan

Speaking of the EB site. I think I prefer the previous site design better. I like linking bookmarks to certain products, I'm unsure how to do this with flash based sites.

and Yank, about your display... I wish some corrupt police officers could raid your den, and then bully you into parting away more than a couple of those in return for your safety. More importantly I hope to be one of them officers... When my US thing gets confirmed beware! I will be in your house, and some of those BL's are just gonna go *poof*

Lameness aside, I feel weird now. An EX GoD owner, ironically I bust my balls, fought with trolls, harried Enterbay and now its going away! Such is life...
Ah as for buying the WoTD, I think you should hold off that... that bugger looks more like those damn scalpers at Ani-Com HK 2011

Yeah the flash site takes 2 mins to load, kind of annoying after the 1st few visits. Better than virus warnings though from HT's site

Man, you really sent him off...crazy. But if you'll be happier with the figs you were looking for than more power to you. In the event that you want this BTS in the future I think you'd find him relatively easy.

And you're right about WOtD, it's not happening for me at those scalper prices. ~$400 for a 1/6 is my personal high water mark, and I passed on a WOtD for $375 not long ago. I'll only break the bank for the Iron Monger tbh

That makes sense as the dio's really eat up space on these EB BL releases. It wold be kind of criminal to display the fig without the dio too b/c of how great they are. I'm struggling to display them all and not have the display look cramped like a can of sardines, which is why I prefer not to use a Detolf for my BL's. Down the road I'll have to figure out a shelving strategy for them, or something else

The EtD v B I got for just shy of my high water mark, I can't remember exactly but I do remember losing a lot of sleep making that decision

Ok so here's a few quick snaps of the custom BD EB GOD 1st edition I got today. Let me know what you talented customizers think of the BD sculpt paint app.

Sorry my 6 megapixel camera sucks and I couldn't get better quality, close up pics. A new camera is on my Christmas list ray

I can barely remember what the proper one was like now. The nose looks a bit pink, in the full body shots he looks a bit drunk. The Onitsukas look better than the current ones though. The Nokia was a definite step forward over this.

I have to use flash otherwise the pics come out fuzzy The nose in the pics comes out very red, like Rudolph the reindeer lol, but it's very faint in hand.

I'll try some pics this evening under normal conditions in my display - which is under the LED lighting on the shelf and not on the kitchen table, mid afternoon sunlight blaring through the house + flash

I might dabble in the acrylics but I fear messing things up.

That's why I wait for good weather, I try as much as I can to shoot my figures in natural daylight. The pics of my GOD were done in daylight but there was a bit of flash as there wasn't much sunlight. I put a bit of Scotch (3M) Magic Tape over my flash to help diffuse it, I think it works too.

Not a bad idea. I've just come to grips with the fact that I suck at photography Hopefully, a better camera down the road will mask how poor my skills are

But while the smiley head be able to fit on a EB 3.5 body, or a HT true-type/ muscle body?

dunno about the HT body.BUT IF YOUR LUCKY ENOUGH and the ball peg on the head isnt glued very well(mine wasnt) a pair of pliers will pull the peg out leaving a hole to fit the 3.5 body.it did for me anyway

Those are recast heads, specially the EtD verB... looks 100% recast
