Got mine yesterday, but had a right nightmare this morning. I thought I'd try putting him in the high kick stance you see him in with Abdul

.... both legs popped right off.

I tried to get them back on for a while but they wouldn't go. So I put the thigh in boiling water to soften it, then was able to pop the hard plastic part out, unscrew the screw to open it, put the pieces either side of the 'C' shaped piece and screw it back on again. Then it was just a matter of heating up the thigh again and popping it back in. But really, this is a design flaw. It doesn't warn you in the instructions not to open the legs that wide:

If the 'C' shapes were full 'O' then it couldn't happen. So anyway, just a heads up to everyone who owns one, no high kicks :)

Yeah, there were warnings posted on here many pages back not to do any high kick poses.

You are right that there are no warnings on the instructions. I'm not even sure the DX can do that either and I'm not about to try.

Enterbay warned not to try and do extreme poses with the Rx-M, and some others had posted similar pics earlier in the thread when they tried to achieve poses which caused the legs to fracture or pop off.

I would guess the DX cannot achieve that pose without some modding. I'd suggest anyone looking to do extreme poses to use the DX body instead though, b/c rubber body figures tend to be way more fragile as evidenced by the deterioration threads.

Hey Al (Alaneye),

Thanx for the warning and the information on how to fix it. I think there are at least two persons here who tried - and the leg (I think only one of them snapped out like both yours did).

I do not want to raise your expectations up, but you could try to e-mail Enterbay about this (enclose the pictures), and maybe they will agree to replace it - but again I do not know if they will do it. But it is worth a try ? If you can, try to ask them if the attachment piece is an "C" or and "O". Let us know

lol I was going to attempt to do something around there, but when I was slowly, carefully, trying to pose the RM-X body for a flying kick shot I couldn't go further so I stopped trying to move the legs.

Hi GungFu, after I'd tried to get it get back on for a while and couldn't, I shot an email off to Enterbay asking either how to fix it, or for a new body. I had previously received Hottoys Terminator with a broken arm and it took about 6 weeks for them to replace it, so I didn't really want to have to send this one back after only getting it yesterday. So I looked at it and figured the thigh must soften and the hard plastic part must pop in, so that's why I decided to try it. The hard plastic part was very difficult to get out... I ended up wrapping a wire loop around it to pull it out.

What I don't understand either is that this guy puts the legs in the very same position and it then able to move them back without any problem... see about 4:15 into the video

I wouldn't dare move the leg to that position again.

I'll let you know what Enterbay says.

I guess he was very lucky!

Guys,

Something has bugged me all day...

In GOD, where does Bruce get his nunchucks from!?

In FOF, ETD and WOTD there are logical places where he can carry them. In GOD, he's wearing a skin tight jumpsuit with a zip up the back.

Where do they come from!?

Cosmostrax: Great photo again - I am loving them !

Alaneye: Hey Al, I really think you should send it back anyways Al if they agree to fix/replace it - even if it takes some time. It's worth the sort time hassle, rather than having a long time not-so-good feeling.... And you could always get a 2nd. body since there are two heads in this set ?

By the way, the video review you have posted is done by a guy who is NOT a professional figure reviewer. Actually he is very unprofessional and it is a shame he is doing these “review” videos as he does not know what he is doing at all - he might even be responsible for misleading you to do this damage on your RM-X body...... I have even seen him on Enterbay's Facebook page talking trash about this figure box set - and then all of a sudden he gets the two heads and a RM-X body and it is all sweet talk and a completely different tone as he is LOVING it..... It is a shame that some gets this “call” that they are thinking they are doing good, when they are actually doing damage IMO. Actually Enterbay should be aware of that video - and have him delete it.

If I remember rightly, he arrives with them hanging on the end of the bamboo whip in a black bag.

Nah, I saw the video after the legs came off, so it had nothing to do with it. But regardless of what he is, he was able to move the legs into that position and move them back again, while mine popped off. I just wondered how come, I didn't force them or anything.

inside a little black bag..one of the other fighters passes it to him when dan inosanto gets his set out

You see him come up the stairs with them here (at about 1:18), not sure if he got them from the floor below, or if he brought them to the pagoda.

I think Roger needs to see the new "original version" in "Bruce Lee: A Warrior's Journey" or/and the Japanese (ArtPort) version "Bruce Lee: In G.O.D" which can been found in the Hong Kong Legends 2-disc release.

Btw Rogerbee, all three box sets has a little black pouch which the nunchakus are placed in as Al and Chris here mentions above.
