Wrt to that video, I noticed when he moved the legs they didn't make any clicking sounds which i found very odd. I have 4 RM-X bodies and every one of them makes clicking sounds when I move the legs.

I think Roger needs to see the new "original version" in "Bruce Lee: A Warrior's Journey" or/and the Japanese (ArtPort) version "Bruce Lee: In G.O.D" which can been found in the Hong Kong Legends 2-disc release.

Btw Rogerbee, all three box sets has a little black pouch which the nunchakus are placed in as Al and Chris here mentions above.

Just talking about that, I remember when I first saw it, and also the version that Hong Kong Legends put together, and it was like WOW! after all those years (I was 13 when Bruce died) there was so much more to it than I had ever imagined. It was like Bruce was back!

Whipped this up, might be helpful for new buyers maybe

Nah, I saw the video after the legs came off, so it had nothing to do with it. But regardless of what he is, he was able to move the legs into that position and move them back again, while mine popped off. I just wondered how come, I didn't force them or anything.

Al

I see, but still the video is not doing much good in my opinion as it is misleading and make people believe the legs can be positioned that way.

I thought it was a hand off from someone else initially. :dunno

as alaneye stated above then he gave one of the other fighters them...then what i said

As you can see here Hai Tien (Bruce) already has it when he comes up with the nunchaku hanging in a black pouch by the end of the bamboo wip. He then gives it to James Tien and Chieh Yuan gives it back to Bruce when he decide to fight Dan's character:

...how ever where Hai Tien gets it from before he gets up I am not so sure of - if he actually brings it along by himself or if he is given it by someone or found it before Dan's floor. I am not sure if the original "Game of Death" notes tells it - as John Little (the creator of "Bruce Lee: A Warrior's Journey") did not have all the original notes when he was working on this documentary. Different notes, with different takes and ideas has been surfaced later and from other sources than Linda Lee Cadwell and her Bruce Lee archives. I think Dan had kept some original notes from Bruce.

By the way, notice in the video I have enclose above that this is the Japanese version "Bruce Lee: In G.O.D" - which contains a longer and in some a different edit, than the "Bruce Lee: A Warrior's Journey" - and that you can actually hear Bey Logan doing Bruce's voice while Dan actually did his own voice in the Japanese version (he did not in "Bruce Lee: A Warrior's Journey"). As you can see the Japanese print is much clearer than in the "WJ", but that has to do with the fact that John Little had used some small inserts in the Ji Han Jae floor scene from an old Japanese print of the 1978 version which had an inferior image compared to the original footage he bought from Media Asia (who at the time had bought up Golden Harvest and their lot). John had originally planned to get a flawless picture, but because of money problems in the project (he had to take money out of his pocket in the last part of the process to complete his wonderful documentary) he decided to downgrade the footage - which is mistaken by allot of people who review it as they say the original footage was found in a bad state and therefore where not in a good condition (which is NOT true).

Sorry for posting the above post after you guys had explained....

Tell me about it Al.... I actually went to Brandford, Leeds in England back in 2001 to attend the European premiere screening at a Bruce Lee event. Looking at this new - and more correct version - I was amazed and even got me to smile in some scenes of Bruce where he was not fighting, but seeing him with Hai Tien and Chieh Yuan and their interactions and Bruce's funny expressions (which gave me a more personal scene of Hai Tien, which I think was amazing and fun to see.... I even laugh surprisingly at it...). Btw, the print that John Little showed at this even did have a the original flawless picture (with the exception of the small bits I mentioned from the 78 Japanese print of "Game of Death"). John was at this even, and he said that he was sad that Brandon had not seen this unseen footage (including outtakes) of 97 minutes of original film footage shot by Bruce, that was discovered back in 1997 (if I recall right….).

nice post gungfu..regarding the 97min footage i have it on dvd(no sound) shows take after take on the fights untill bruce was happy with the results(at that time anyway) i feel he may have reshot some of them later on

This thread has 645 pages and I've yet to see a picture of Gung Fu's entire Bruce Lee collection. :monkey4

I think it's time you satisfy the curiosity of the masses! :lecture:lecture:lecture:exactly:

Thanx mate. Yes, I also have it somewhere. By the way, do not forget that there is some hand cam footage of Bruce and Kareem (I think James Tien is also in it ?) from a press/photo day which features Bruce doing some kicks and fly kicks - you even see him stumble and fall. Plus there is some ultra-rare footage shot by Bruce with his own hand camera of Dan Inosanto and Wu Nga (Wu Ngan) in the garden of 42 Cumberland Road (Bruce's last home [in Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong] doing rehearsals for "Game of Death" - Bruce is not in this footage, but you can hear him talk and instruct them on what to do.

HERE HERE :)

Nah... I do not have any impressive Bruce Lee collection - there are more guys out there which has a whole room full of stuff. Mine is little and neat (which I prefer as I do not want everything there is - like that celebrity-rubber-duck thing) .... Hehe...

(With farty smell of course)

I've seen it :wink1:

Just my Bruce Lee Enterbay figures - right ?

Thinking logically about it, I think he must have brought them along with him.... the likelyhood of there just happening to be a set lying around that were yellow with black stripes to match his track suit is pretty remote :)

Let's go Gung Fu, post that pic! You've asked many people to post a variety of pics which we've done for you, now it's time to return the favor! :exactly::exactly::exactly:

I have some Bruce Lee drawings I did in my teenage years and I did a model kit later on, if you'd like to see?

...well, to my defence I have posted allot of other pictures of Bruce Lee, and photos of different figures that I have stumbled on while searching the internet
wink.gif

I can how ever - when I have time - take a photo of my EB figures and e-mail you. It is really no big deal. Need to maybe take some new once once I get the extra accessories for my "custom" one. No "kinky-no-pants" and sardine pictures though.... Hahaha....

I have some Bruce Lee drawings I did in my teenage years and I did a model kit later on, if you'd like to see?

I would also love to see it ! Bring it on Al !

:clap

Here's a link to my old drawings on my website:

https://www.alanianson.com/drawings1.htm

And here's the kit:

https://www.alanianson.com/brucelee.htm

I sold the sculpture to a company called 5th Sense, and unfortunately somewhere in the mouding/casting process they distorted the face some what. It's wasn't the greatest of likenesses, but if you look at the photos of the sculpture, you can see it was better than the castings.

Just my Bruce Lee Enterbay figures - right ?

Of Course... I was quite happy and satisfied by that much only, If I wanted to see the books, material, pictures, memorabilia... It would have exploded my brain

:explode:

BTW It may be an unusual request but did you know India doesnt stock ANY Bruce Lee movies other than Enter The Dragon... So I actually dont have a set. Would anyone please be kind to send me a set of his movies EXCEPT GoD which I would appreciate if some one could give me A Warriors Journey or Bruce lee in G.O.D in its place... Thankfully now since I have paypal It wont be a problem sending you the funds for the trouble :) Hoestly Id love the 2 disc editions Ive seen of The Big Boss, WoD and FoF... etc etc

now should I post this in the WTB section...

Also I have very paintstakingly managed to get Bruce Lee's Fighting Method Vol 1 -4, Tao of JKD and Chinese Gung Fu anyone know any books more? and how to source them? Thanks :) After a long time I thought I should focus on the other stuff than his figures...
