Wooo!!! Correctly predicted not many people would be bidding on parted out Enterbay ebay auctions on New Years day.

Won everything I wanted out of this set:
Smiling head
Damaged costume
Shoes + socks
Nunchucks + bag
Bamboo stick

Under $100 !

My parts arrived!!

Built my Game of Death figure onto the Hot Toys Lee body.
Looks great and everything fits well.
The suit is much higher quality than the original EB GoD suit from years ago.

The smiling Enterbay sculpt even fit into the body.
Really happy with everything.

Surprised how good the smiling sculpt is. The hair sculpt is easily better than the Hot Toys ones and the face itself is a big leap foward in terms of paint apps from the old Enterbay Lee sculpts.
Maybe my favorite Lee sculpt of the recent offerings from both HT and EB. Really didn't expect that.

A shame the battle damaged sculpt and horribly realized new body dragged down the set so much.

Yeah, I think the smiling sculpt is better than how they made the casual Bruce Lee's on Hot Toys. Basically cuz of the hair lol

do you you mean this?

Sorry to bring up and old thread but what exactly is the recipe here? The battle damaged HT head with scars removed yeah? What hair is it though and what mod was done?

I really wanna put together a bashed GOD Bruce. Was gonna use the Enterbay head on HT body, but that pic looks awesome.

Its The HT BD Head with Scars removed with EB EtD VerB Hairpiece.

Yeah that is a sweet mod. I got the hairpiece & modded (gasp :lol) it to fit on the BD HT head sculpt. It fits nicely & looks better I think. I'm not so confident on removing the battle scars though. So it's still an EtD figure. Maybe if I get a spare BD head sculpt, I'll try ..... maybe.

I can use nail polish remover right? :dunno

NOOOOO!! That would take the rest of the paint off as well. Whoever did it, whether it was Ahgnus or Rorywan used rubbing alcohol carefully applied with a q-tip.

Awesome, thanks for the replies guys. I think that hairpiece looks great on the HT head. Not sure if i'd have the bottle to risk trying to remove the scars so might try the hairpiece on the regular HT head.

But is it fairly straight forward though to remove the scars? Just rubbing alcohol gently and carefull applied with a q tip?

Underneath the hairpiece there is a moulded cross piece, if you carve away part of the front arm of it the hairpiece will sit better on the head.

I've never tried the q-tip tip myself

If and when i get the hair piece i'll have a look and give it a go. Not sure about the scars. I might stick to using the regular HT head with the enterbay hair, just to vary it up a bit. Really want a GOD Bruce but as HT's wont/cant make one i'll have to just bash one together myself.

With the BD head sculpt, I had to carve that piece away to get it to sit better on the head. But with the normal head sculpt, it seemed to sit fine without needing to carve anything out (after removing the piece with the magnet of course). I think I'll try to get a spare BD head sculpt before trying to remove the scars.

It's what most of us did!

Really!? My head was the non BD one and I modded the hair for a better fit. The trouble with those DX heads is that they're really pricey as they have PERS.

Hey guys a little advice please. I'm still on the fence with this piece because of the qc issues but I need a g.o.d. in my collection, so is this set really worth the price? Do any of u regret buying it? Thanks

Due to the body I'd have to say no, don't go for it and yes I do regret getting one. Bruce liked to pose and the RM-X doesn't allow for it. You'd be better off getting a TTM-17, a DX sculpt, the EB suit, some custom trainers, the EB ETD hair and going that route.

It should cost less than the EB box set and you'll end up with a great looking figure that can do any Bruce pose you set your mind to.

I did kinda regret buying it specially as the QC issues compared to the price IMO was not worth it, plus some of that accessories and director stuff and all didnt have much display options for me. So I ended up getting the Nokia God, smaller and IMO a better likeness to Bruce Lee... (although I was lucky to get it cheap) here is a review and in hand pics of my Nokia

I am glad I passed on this set. I bashed my own GoD for a fraction of the price, but I was happy not to have the accessories, diorama and extra suit. As much as I like the smiling sculpt, it is not the dynamic, ready-for-action expression I wanted out of a GoD figure - and the BD sculpt is not the strongest Bruce Lee sculpt out there. I got the angry FoF sculpt and put an EB EtD hairpiece on it - with a BL3.5 body rather than the GoD pos.

Now if only I'd also passed on the MIS Bruce sets...
