Now if only I'd also passed on the MIS Bruce sets...

I actually just got the suit MIS and by far is the best Bruce likeness in my display. I have him sitting on the EB GoD director's chair which is a much more accurate and better one than the HT one and he looks chilled out and like a badass playa... (Im glad though that I didnt get the casual too, buying both sets would have been a waste)

Yeh, I forget that my buyer's regret is all about having bought both of them. Trouble is, I can't decide even now which one I would have bought if I had initially decided to get just one :slap

I agree about the sculpt too, it's under-rated imo. I think it is a great likeness, although at first I thought it lacked a bit of life in the eyes. Now that I look at the sculpt I can't see why I didn't take to it at first. As for having two of them, maybe I'll display one at work and one at home :)

Maybe you can keep the clothing from one set and sell off the body and sculpt... that way, you will still essentially have options of 2 different figures and get back something from your investment...

They aren't worth so much at the moment - if we start to see more bare feet available with the release of the tt I might pick up a pair for some bashing :)

Thanks for all the input and for disappointing me, lol. I'm a huge fan of the diorama stuff and that was a big reason I wanted it but after hearing all u guys out I think I'll wait for the big boss. any word on when that release will b?

i bashed my GOD in bits..both sculpts the hand set diorama 2 custom catsuits and sock and sneaker sets.a LOT cheaper than the box set.i used 2 BL3.5s for the bodies.then i had a spare 3.5 so i made anothe using a FOF calm with a ETD hairpiece (another suit trainers/sock was got cheap) so i have 3.and i can still change them around if i wish

No news yet, hopefully we'll get some images coming through in the coming days or weeks so we have some idea how the set will look.

Re: the GoD diorama, you could probably bash your own GoD, pick up the diorama and still have change left over. It is sweet getting a big box set full of stuff, but sadly it is over priced for what it is. Safe your bickies for the Big Boss, I've got a feeling that it'll either be a full-on massive set, or two separate releases. Either way I'd expect somewhere around the $350-plus mark.

my bashes cost me about £150 in total.not bad for 3 figures with the diorama.and i hope for a sub $300 big boss.simillar to the kato/etd releases would suit me,dont really have room for an ice factory diorama LOL

Ok I know most of u prefer the bashes but out of curiosity what would b a good price to pay for the third edition?

I'd pick it up if it was under $260 shipped. To get the most out of a set that comes with such a limited body you really should factor in the cost of a poseable one. I'm sure a lot of people would say it's worth more than that, but that's all I'd personally pay.

Bbts has it now for $250, and shipping could be ok with the POL. Otherwise add $90 to ship here to Oz.

yeah 350-380 is about the going rate.
here's my bashes (not great pic im afraid) havent uploaded in a while

I really like all the face sculpts in your pic mr chris they look awesome. With the rubber body having limited poseability is a shame but how does it hold up over time so far? Not a big fan of rubber bodies to begin with so hopefully that changes with big boss

i'm using my rubber body as an ETD bash.it does have a few flakes on the L arm but i have it in a non fighting pose and it has been that way about 7mths or so.but over posing would no doubt split the elbow in time,so as a fighting body its a no no.shame really as it could have been a really great body

I'm totally new to enterbay and read about the easily broken ankle peg.
is this true? and is there any QC I must be aware with if I'me planning to get this item?
thanks for any advice :hi5:

The rubber body is prone to crack and split and the ankles only break if you force them in ways they shouldn't be forced.

A better alternative to the EB body is the HT one which they now mass produce as the TTM-17.

well at this stage the thread is 700+ pages and too long to read....but in summary:

STAY AWAY :rotfl

Even if you're a diehard Game of Death fan, you're still better off grabbing the parts you want off ebay (even the smiling sculpt) and building your own on a Hot Toys body.

Its really only if you desperately need the wooden backdrop (which is nice...but also has problems with the glue staining) and movie equipment that you'd consider this product.

Is it really that horrible? :lol
I thought this was going to be my first enterbay figure, but apparently it'll have to wait :lol

Well I ended up not buying because of this very thread....others that did purchase can correct me if they like.

Many of the bodies shipped damaged, even replacement ones sometimes shipped damaged. Even if you got a good one, the bodies themselves weren't made well so the arms can't be kept in a bent position...which sort of takes the fun out of a Bruce Lee figure.

The battle damaged sculpt I think looks awful with eyes far too big for Bruce. He looks like he is tripping on acid. (the smiling sculpt is great though)

The accessories are mostly real wood and steel which is impressive. I don't recall reading about any issues with the accessories (other than the glue in the backdrop staining through the paper)

...it seems Enterbay have sorted their problems now though so don't write them off yet.

Their 1/4 scale Terminator is simply amazing. That I own and have never been more impressed with a collectible.

And they are currently working on a new 1/6 scale Big Boss figure and a 'black label' Bruce Lee 1/6 statue. ...so lots of 1/6 Enterbay Bruce Lee goodness coming up...
