That seems like a homegrown terrorist to me.

I am very interested to see who was behind it (if anyone is caught).

If it is Home grown terror, most likely a Middle Eastern type (sorry, but true), they will release something to claim responsibllity. They can't do this and not brag about what the stupid cause was for.

Another thing is most home grown terror suspects are complete screw ups. Seems most completely fail at what they try and do. This was planned very well and everything worked as planned. I am interested to know the race/ethnicity of the person/persons responsable.

Theres plenty of ****ed up white kids in this country too. Or did you already forget these guys :

We don't like to call those that, but these kids were'nt so crazy they were eating **** out of their own pants and thinking they were on mars and couldn't coordinate themselves or their motor skills.

They knew what they were doing, they targeted innocents instead of just suicide, they planned it, they are terrorists too. They didn't do it for Jihad or a specific group but that doesn't change their goal was to kill innocents and inflict fear.

And don't forget Dorner, what 2 months ago? the former military/cop.

these kids arn't really considered terrorists though, just nut jobs. There is a line between bing a mass killer and an act of terrorism. Where that line is though seems to be sketchy. This act was terrorism though, setting up bombs and walking away.

Most home grown terrorist's screw up in the end. A guy with a bomb in his pants that wouldnt go off, a guy trying to blow up Tim Square, and many others. Of course it is a good thing they are caught before, or their plans don't work out. Otherwise, there would be a lot more people dead.

Seems like race for too many people. IMO it's just denial, these kids are terrorists, sorry but nutjobs doesn't cut it. Holmes was a med student, maybe more intelligent than you and I before he did what he did. No one called the police because he was wandering around nude screaming in the middle of the night everyday. He wasn't crazy until he made the decision to shoot up a theatre. Dorner was a respected cop for a while, he was military, he led a normal life for over 40 years. You could say a terrorist isn't crazy until he makes the decision to be a suicide bomber in the same light. In the end every terrorist is a nutjob because they choose to murder or take extreme action against innocent bystanders. If their motive is to inflict fear on a group of people they don't agree with they are terrorists. Look at Timothy Mcveigh and Ted Kaczynski, this has been going on a long time.

Interesting factoid: Dow/Nasdaq/S&P had their worst day of the year just prior to the attack, gold was smashed another $60 and marginally rebounded the next day.

Really weird day.

I agree. "Anyone" regardless of their age, who plans to inflict mass casualties and bodily injury intentionally, in my opinion is a terrorist.

I also heard, and is shown in the previous post, whoever it is, could be an amateur because of the gun powder that was used instead of the chemicals commonly used in this type of bomb, along with circuit boards with a timer instead of commonly used cellphones and that bb's etc was used as shrapnel...(which we know) KTVU said that this type of "bomb" is commonly found on "how to" websites for crazy *******s, suggesting that it could be "domestic".

I'm just repeating what I heard last night. :lecture

This guy helped the man with the injured and missing legs...

That's a great guy! :yess:

Were all the injured just at that one spot by the finish line? Or both areas?
I haven't watched the news today, and was curious if they have anyone if interest other than the Saudi kid? I did hear that "pressure cookers" were used. That seems like a homegrown terrorist to me.
Is the flag he's holding stained with blood? Couldn't tell what he was saying.

Then they'd smear the stolen jackets in blood just so their value skyrockets.
That honestly wouldn't surprise me.

Breaking news out of Boston
CNN is reporting surveillance video taken from the Lord and Taylor and a Boston TV station have helped investigators identify a suspect.
That's awesome news.
Too bad people here in MA will have to pay to keep this PIECE OF S:censoredT alive for the rest of his life!

Nah, all they did is watch Looney Tunes and Family Guy.

Regardless of the edit, it's really unfortunate that quick joke about Peter running over Boston Marathoners and his dalliance in terrorism (which eventually included detonating two bombs via cell phone) occured in the same ep.

I know this is wild speculation from a strange site, but I wonder if this guy does have anything to do with it (weird way to hold a backpack):
