I did find it strange that the commissioner called the two suspects "actors", but he does have a point - most people are just pissed off about 9/11, Afghanistan and Iraq, they don't trust the government anymore and are all wound up emotionally that every time something like this happens they find a conspiracy in it.

But hey, that's what happens when you lie and deceive the public that way..

using the term "actors" was a horrible slip. But only cause it easily adds fuel to those who "hate the man" by default in each and every case possible.
It could easily apply to a term used internally for to people "acting out due to anger from the past events at yaddah yaddah yaddah ... "
that video was great BTW.. :monkey1

Yeah, you could see that he actually caught it and corrected himself, and it was THAT that made me sort of cringe.. :monkey4

You've been mislead... his MOTUC predictions are done by people @ He-Man.org...

Hey, all a good intelligence analyst really does is sift through the crap and come up with a logical conclusion.

Personally I don't feel inclined to sift through the crap that is the .org so I'm happy to get Teemu's view on it. :)

He has a radical extremist view of life, politics and religion that can easily be labeled as fanaticism...

...

Well, yeah. Basically what I meant earlier. I have no problem with you Teemu, but sit back and relax a little, man. The world isn't as bad and/or black and white as some make it out to be. :peace

Meh, it's a fairly common term within this context. I hear it all the time in reports and formal briefings. It's not even really how you're defining it here, but more like this (the bolded part):

ac·tor (ktr)
n.
1. A theatrical performer.
2. One who takes part; a participant: "France, Britain . . . and any other external actors now involved . . . in the affairs of the continent" (Helen Kitchen).
3. Law One, such as the manager of a business, who acts for another.

That's all.

I just read a report that said they didn't find any weapons in the boat that the suspect was found in. I'm pretty sure authorities came out that night and said a shootout ensued and they then apprehended him. Well where did his gun go?

The mother is saying some pretty weird stuff as well.

I was listening to the police band from the moment he was found in the boat to when he was captured, and I don't ever remember hearing anything about a shootout or even that they saw a weapon.

From CNN :

-- No firearm was found in the boat where the surviving Boston Marathon attack suspect, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, was found, several sources from different agencies familiar with the investigation said Thursday. Authorities had said in a criminal complaint there was a standoff between the boat's occupant and police involving gunfire.
