I'm suprised there are so many wait list conversions. I don't think there were this many with the bronze Dooku. Maybe with the cost of everything else going up so much the last few months people had to bail.

Not to mention the painted version is MUCH better then the faux bronze.

It's not worth it to buy both in my opinion.

I honestly think this will be the first time the Sideshow version of faux bronze will be better than the painted version.

I disagree, though. I think where the faux bronze works is on those pieces that are simple or have a classic design to them, such as a bust or a standing figure. In this case (as with the Star Wars vs line), the faux bronze versions come across a little gimicky. But that's just me.

If they had made similar larger numbers of the two, the faux bronze version would have languished at their warehouse.

After getting my faux bronze "duel of fates" I'm tempted to get the colored version. Its a great sculpt but the bronze makes it alittle dull. But it may work for this piece.

From the few pictures we've seen of the colored ones, the paint seems to be a little dull and not exactly to the detailed prototype standards, which is why I thought FB would help on this piece.
