Your opinions are not facts. Deal with it.

You claimed TDKR would beat Avengers. You even trolled the Avengers thread stating such. You can ignore it, or come up with whatever excuses you think would make you right, but the fact of the matter is, quite simply, it didn't even come close. That's not opinion, that's based off of ticket sales, which everybody but you would call facts. That's not me trolling. That's not me picking on you. That's me stating what happened in the real world. :wink1:

Since everybody seems so interested. Here are how the three movies stand as of Wednesday:

+ Foreign: $844,600,000 57.8%

Avengers theatrical run is finished? The Japanese and other places that have it opening this month are going to be sad to hear you've canceled the movie. :(

You missed the point entirely.

Wow. Spidey didn't do so well domestically. I have a feeling I wasn't the only one to boycott it for rebooting it so soon. Watched a bootleg of it today. It wasn't bad, but was it good enough to throw away the other continuity? Heck no....

Yeah, it was. I enjoyed it but it was very similar to spidey one which was pretty darn fun.

^ That.

Also, it was almost like a remake.

Yes! Except it took FOREVER for him to wear the suit. It tried so hard to replicate two or the most popular origin films ever created: Batman Begins and Iron Man. It worked in those films because much more was happening with the characters than teen angst and melodrama. Raimi's films had better pacing. And another thing that irks me is all the Raimi bashes go on how cheesy and corny those movies are. This one wasn't? It had tons of bad jokes and Spidey was a cocky jokester and not likable to me. But his cocky/joking attitude is something they praise? I don't get it. Their argument is a contradiction of itself.

It's probably one of my least favorite superhero movies. It ranks just above SM3...

Again, not a bad movie. Just not worth having redone the origin for. Added nothing new to me except some lame stuff with his parents.

ASM confuses me. I like it alot, more than Raimi's but I just dont know why.

The actor who played uncle ben in ASM was weird as. Sort of a lame death. Some of the cocky comments were just, terrible in its delivery IE 'Im swingin here'. The car theif cockiness was pretty much nailed awsomely. ASM's action scenes were pretty cool and some great comic influences. BUT, the CGI at many points was terrible.

I just dont know. lizards face looked horrid and there was more that I wanted from the relationship between Connors and Parker. But when I think of Raimi's, I didnt like Kirsten dunst in SM2 and SM3. In the first film she was so so beautiful, but the second and 3rd she went really thin and the acting was cheesy.

Didnt like Franco as harry osborne nor did I agree with killing Norman. Defoe was quite good minus the mirror mirror on the wall. JK Simmons WAS perfect as JJJ. Sort of like Oldman as commissioner gordon; cant see past those actors in those roles
