Finally saw TDKR tonight. Wow, what a movie. Simply amazing. I feel like Avengers is the "Star Wars" of superhero movies while TDKR is the "Godfather" of superhero movies. Either would be a worthy favorite (though I tend to be a Cap/Marvel/SW guy over Batman/DC/The Godfather.)

Nice analogy, Khev. :clap

Can't say I agree at all. TDKR solid movie. Nothing special whatsoever but it was enjoyable. The Avengers is one I know I will be watching over and over for years to come.

I'm surprised to hear you say that, I have the exact opposite feeling.

Why? I think the Nolan batman movies are fun but nothing omg. The closest is TDK which is IMO the best of the series. For me outside of the last hulk movie I've enjoyed every marvel movie more. The Avengers left me wanting more and I should have seen it more than twice in the theaters. TDKR while fun I didn't walk out thinking I HAD to see it again in theaters. I'll get it on blu be ause I did enjoy it but it's one I will have to be in the right mood to watch.

For me I just think the avengers was better in every way over TDKR. Obviously others are going to feel differently which is fine but none of these polls mean ____ to be honest.

That's a great analogy but I'm the opposite. I'm more of a Batman/DC/Godfather guy.:D

Ah... I get it now. You like Marvel stuff over DC stuff. That's cool man, to each his own. :hi5:

Yes, as a whole I prefer Marvel to DC. Not that I don't like DC as my batman comic sub would attest or the fact I'm getting me some of those SS dc 1:6th.

Cool man. I'm more of DC guy, but I still love the great Marvel films.

Spiderman 1 & 2
Iron Man 1 & 2
The Incredible Hulk
X-Men: First Class
Captian America
Avengers
The Amazing Spiderman

while they're at it have them check meta critic for a more accurate rating.

But then I can't use an example of why Avengers is teh superior film. My argument would be hurt by the review statistics thus not proving my point. :(
