You're welcome :hi5:

:bow :bow :bow

since you wouldn't answer the door & i'm heading to best buy & getting an all new home entertainment center............65" plasma, a ps 3 or 4.......(whatever it takes..:wink1:)......a bose surround sound...........and one of those rolling cart popcorn makers. so you win the battle now k.........but i'm gonna win the war............:panic:

Well you don't gotta be mean about it :(

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

thanks j............i've avoided the whole blu-ray thing for a while but being able to see a harmy sw version is really a good justification to buy a br player. :lol

Yeah, I feel you on that. Years ago I got a bootleg copy of SW on a DVR off of eBay, but my player wouldn't play them took me awhile to finally figure out it couldn't play that format. So at like 11pm I took a trip to Wal Mart and bought a new player just so I could watch the damn things :lol

Good think about BR players is they'll still play DVDs and make them look a bit better. But once you go full HD you'll never go back... you'll be ruined for like :lecture

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Remember when you thought a THX certified VHS looked and sounded good :lol

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Oh yeah, I totally remember thinking how great THX was, and then how much of an upgrade films were on a DVD on a regular TV. I imagine at some point we'll be wondering how we ever lived with 1080p :lol

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I'm thinking of upgrading from this to a VCR copy...having trouble finding VCR units at the stores. :monkey3 :stick

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

From what I have been told, the UHD isn't gonna mean much to the typical home viewer. Much the way a 1080p resolution isn't necessarily visible on smaller screens, the UHD will really only be "visible" on screens that are several hundred inches or more.

Or something like that :dunno

I guess we're going to need a bigger house. :lol

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I saw this and knew it wasn't going to be in my life anytime soon...

Uncompressed, a 20 minute broadcast would require roughly 4 TB of storage. :horror
